As I mentioned I'm sure some will pay, but I'm not a NBA fan at all and CFB has been less important to me with NIL and the transfer portal, so I mostly don't care about that either.

That’s a great idea. An 8-9 or 9-8 division winner shouldn’t get a home playoff game vs an 11 win team.

— If teams have the same record, a division title would serve as the first tiebreaker (not head-to-head).
— After the first round, teams would be re-seeded so the No. 1 seed always plays the lowest remaining seed.
— The NFL wants to increase late-season competitiveness and excitement and reduce teams resting starters in Weeks 17–18.

Something to say for that but it's one season. And didn't one of thoise teams with a much better record lose on road to a team with lesser record? Maybe different if at home which can make strong case they deserved?

I kinda hate it but I hate late regular-season games being meaningless even more.

4 division winners. Just 2 bye weeks. There just isn't a large enough sample size to declare 1 seeds by far the best team
