Huge shoutout to #Commanders GM Adam Peters & the FO this free agency/draft.

✅

Solidified the O-line for the face of the franchise by adding Laremy Tunsil, Josh Conerly Jr, & other key depth pieces.

✅

Got Jayden Daniels more weapons like Deebo Samuel, Jaylin Lane, Jacory Croskey-Merritt, & re-signed important pieces such as Zach Ertz, John Bates, Noah Brown, & others.

✅

Significantly improved the CB room with adding Trey Amos, Jonathan Jones, & other pieces while also re-signing Noah Igbinoghene.

✅

Kept the coaching staff & important guys like Marcus Mariota and Bobby Wagner back for another season

Jayden went from Coleman and Wylie to Tunsil and Conerly Jr.

Adults in the room......finally.
This OL was average with zero depth. Now it looks like one of the better OLs in the league. Wyle was a stop gap at RT, his true position is OG and if he moves inside and if Coleman can be an upgrade over Allegretti that would be a big improvement to go with their on paper great OTs. Herbig was a big signing IMO because this means if BadAss goes down we are not stuck with Dieter. Once Cosmi returns this is now a top offensive line IMO.

Look at the corners we had to start last season:

Forbes
BSJ
Sainristill
Davis
Iggy.

Now replace that with:

Lattimore
Amos
Sainristill
Jones
Iggy.

I was looking at the roster last night and the depth at oline and corner stood out. Those were two positions last year that got ugly toward the end.

Having to choose between BSJ and Davis in that Atlanta game, having to go with Deiter and Scott in big moments.

We got the QB. Then they built the o line. I think next year is where they will go get some splash players.

AP really raised the floor of this team.

The team is definitely better on paper than last year. The only worry I have is how are we going to get to the QB.

I still laugh at all the posters who said don't use a high pick on a QB, build your roster first and then find your QB. Well glad Washington didn't listen to that nonsense, it's possible to do both and we are seeing it take place right now.

I'm not saying Pass Rusher in not needed just pointing out its not the end of the world ... 2 guys with 6 sack each or 1 guy with 12 sacks both equal 12 sacks ..I like that philosophy its bill Snyder and Cris Klieman Ksu type logic ..it's about Team players and coaches coaching them up
