I have wanted Arroyo and mocked him in several posts.

I did like Emmanwori, but what I read from various analysts and why he fell was he was slipping because of character issues. Make shit up? He very much seems like a player that needs a coach and defensive guy to get him to play to his full potential. WTF are you talking about screamin? Go look at my earlier posts, I had him being mocked to SEATTLE.. just an earlier pick.

Again on Arroyo, you're not the first person on this forum that's mentioned that name. I really don't get what your post is on. Are you pissed off or something?

He didnt fall. He was a late first early second prospect. Starks fell that pushed Emmanwori back into the 2nd. Had stark gone earlier then it would have been Emmanwori being selected by the Ravens where they had mocked Emmanwori but the best Safety "Starks" was still on the board.

Okay, I guess I'm the only one thrilled by these picks on day 2 so far.

I'm happy to come back and eat crow in the next couple years if it doesn't work.
I'm good with the trade up to land our S but feel could have went o-line/d-line with the next pick. TE seems too early at this moment.

It's a solid trade up. He wouldn't have made it to us if Seattle stayed put.
Safety is such a low value position, can't stomach giving up 1st round value for one. That's what they did.

There was nobody left that was starter potential. Ratledge has a mean streak, but so what?

Whatever.. a toddler will be an all pro on the Lions OL at this point.

Arroyo is a slam dunk pick.. And Emmanwori is also there. For what they got drafted for.

Eh if I'm eating crow for this (because I have and will certainly post on this forum if I'm wrong), I hope you fuckers come back.

With this o-line Ratledge would have had a good shot starting. Plus I want pissed off players that hate their division rivals. TE is not a massive need at this point in the draft.

Disagree ENTIRELY (and this is not something new, I've been saying it for months, go search my posts)... Haynes has been a ZBS wide blocker since he was a sperm, Olu is not a great center but serviceable.. there was a HUGE need/requirement at LG but outside of that you have players that you've drafted (hell we just spent a 3rd on Haynes) that can fill that role.

Kubiak wants to run a 3 TE system and let's not forget Fant is the highest cap hit on the team, on offense at the moment and in his last year.

I guess we'll agree to disagree.

If we somehow get Wilson with our 3rd, I'm going to jack off and call it a night..

In reality I'll probably take multiple shots and then go raid my neighbors. I'd appreciate if nobody here reports me..

Improving the defense with a very good safety is fine, moving up was a little rich perhaps but the HC is a defensive coach who has done some interesting things with safety. As for Arroyo, didn’t the Seahawks just draft a good looking TE last year? Arroyo can go down field for a TE so that helps. Need more help on the OL but still have some picks so lets see.

Jared Williams or Kyle Williams with our 3rd would be perfect. While I wasn't thrilled about Arroyo, with 4 TE's already off the board at our pick, I think we got scared. Fannin or Helms are going to be fine TE's though in the 3rd.

Wouldn't at all be shocked to see the Hawks Draft WR Horton with thier next pick. Thats about where he was projected to go as far as drafting ( Late 3rd early 4th ) because of his injury.

If they go Oline then they are scraping the bottom of the barrel, so many have gone off the board the talent isnt there for the round level. Mbow and Frazier wont be there when the Hawks pick in the 3rd ( 28th, 92 overall ). After those 2 you got a guy that was outside the top 100 with Wyatt Milum.

Seattle planned on taking a TE in this draft early and it was obvious. I don't know why anyone is surprised by this selection.

My guy was Emmanwori in November and the Hawks landed him in the early 2nd round. Best pick so far for us in this draft. This kid will be a all pro. I predicted Arroyo yesterday after the first now i am predicting a WR because the oline talent won't be there on the Hawks next pick. They will go for "size" with the WR pick. ( If WR is the pick )

Or how about the 6 foot 4 222 pound WR Savion Williams. It will be a bigger body WR or they could shock us all and go CB/LB/RB/QB.
