keep going.
You are getting me pumped up for this pick!

I like Booker in pass protection and he is smart. He does a great job of picking up stunts. He is a bully and finishes blocks. I highly doubt he is 321 pounds. He looked like he weighed a minimum of 340 in college.

I hope they trade up for an impact player tonight. A guy like Henderson would look good running up the middle .

They absolutely need to draft a RB tonight.

FYI Breece Hall is only 23. Not saying that changes your mind of course but I was surprised to read that.
My only issue with Hall is he just wasn't very good last year. Obviously teams were stacking the box but still. It was two seasons past his knee injury so I'm not sure we can say it was due to the first year back after the injury. I'd love to see him run a 40 and other combine drills just to see if his speed and burst are the same. Only two games all year did he have a run over 18 yards
You are right only 23. I would have no problem taking him. I wonder what we would have to give up?

Definitely a different mind set now than a few years back with the Connors and Farniok and the others who couldn't move anyone. Now they need to coach up Guyton

Yeah and that Booker number is gonna be light in season lol

Texting a lot on the topic with a couple of Jets friends. They felt like he had no burst last year and Allen was the better player, but they also are hesitant to give up on him. To me knowing you have to pay him a and I guess taking a step back and looking at how he looked last year, maybe he is more worth a 4th rounder? No way a 2nd and I'm now thinking I'd rather draft one than give up a 3rd for him?

It will be interesting if the Jets take a RB in the 2nd before we are on the clock. Maybe for us both of our 5ths or next year's 4th if they do? Then we go BPA 2nd and then WR 3rd and add Hall via trade for both 5ths? A lot of DBS and Edge guys available right now and a couple other defensive guys as well unless we go Burden here.

Hearing they are looking defense. Who knows if true, but I would love OL in round 1 and then defense in round 2. I know most of you would not like that, but that would just reinforce to me that they put together a board and then just picked their guys.

Allen is a sore subject. He was sitting there in the 4th and we had no pick. Kind of like this year SMH

Well Hall wasnt gonna have a burst last after just coming back from a knee injury. They said same thing about Barkley.
Year removed from injury I would be ecstatic if we could land Hall for a couple 3rd day draft picks.

That would be more accurate if his injury was in 2023 but it was in 2022.
Timeline: His injury was in 2022. He was already back for week one of 2023. He was less explosive in 2024 than he was in 2023.
Thus, that is not the explanation.

so college player gurus.
I seen this on the net. (could this be the LB I am looking for (dont care for edge rusher type) Looking for a Sean lee type.

At pick No. 44, there will continue to be calls for a running back, but with TreVeyon Henderson off the board in this simulation, the Cowboys decide to go with UCLA linebacker Carson Schwesinger. Described as a "human bloodhound," Schwesinger knows how to find the ball, and can get to it in a hurry.

Linebacker might not seem like a major need but with Eric Kendricks gone and DeMarvion Overshown recovering from a knee injury, it's a position that has to be addressed. Schwesinger takes care of that need and will be an instant difference-maker on defense.

Like the sound of Human Bloodhound.
Anyone know who this guy is & what do you think of this guy at 44 if you do know who he is?
I am still saying. Build from the inside out!

Thoughts?

I am hoping for an explosive receiver or RB in round 2. Schwesinger name is out there as one of the best remaining. I know very little about him . I hope they trade up for Burden or Henderson. Would not be against Green if he falls.

He's your guy. I think he will be gone, I think he is a 1st round guy. I like him just as much as Campbell, and Campbell is really good. Physical, tough and smart

yeah these guys are saying Henderson will be gone. I would rather go Defense vs. WR here, but wont be mad at WR here Like I would have been if it was at 12.

The guy we were also considering at 12 was DT Nolen, so they are thinking along those lines. A lot of DT's came off the board last night though

obviously I want a DT most of all, but it sounds like from listening to you guys.
All the 1st & 2nd rd DTs went off the board last night.
So if true, we might have to wait until the 3rd for that :(
But if we get an all pro Mike, you guys will see how important that pick would be!
I know we dont value MLB like I think we should, but I can dream!

The UCLA kid is going to be a stud. He really could be Sean Lee caliber. I would actually love that pick
Yeah, I think they will probably wait on DT after last night, but there are still a few good ones left. If there's not an early run it could be in play

Love this kid. One of the guys I was hoping we would take if there

Browns wouldn't go QB there because Hous and Tenn won't take QB. I think Browns go QB with next pick

Hou: I kind of liked the other Iowa St guy better and definitely like Burden better. Wonder if they skip Burden due to character concerns

Still have the CBs, pass rushers (won't take Green with DV issue) Burden and two RBs. Talent is there. DON'T TRADE DOWN. Guys on DC.com said they may look to trade down and recoup hat 4th rounder
