Well, if they dumped the stupid play in crap, there would be a reasonable rest period. The 9th and 10th seeds in the West were what, 8 or more games back of 8th? The ones in the East were tighter, but with slightly worse records. Do we really need to include sub .500 teams in the playoffs? The Heat were 8 games under, only 2 games better than Portland lol.

Wolves have underperformed long before we get playoff Gobert. I will keep hoping, but we all saw what Luka did to em last year.

Yeah, the entire boring format for the NBA playoffs works in huge favor of a team like the Lakers who can make better use of the extra days off than a team full of kids like the Wolves or Thunder
