who is this dynamic WR you speak off? lol
Anyone who relegates Terry to his more natural and dangerous spot... WR2

Keep an eye on Pittsburgh. (Although there are a couple of guys in this draft who are interesting)

Yep! They need a QB and have two of the same kinds of receivers. That makes them unbalanced at the position and no one to get the ball to them. (Both Pickens and D.K. are big deep threats) Moving one of them seems inevitable with the likely one being Pickens, since they just acquired D.K.)
They spent a second on the now 24 year old Pickens, (6'3" 200/ 4.47 40 time) and will likely want that at minimum for him, but remember... the Steelers still need a QB and won't make a move for Shedeur unless he falls to 9, (Saints). I can't see them using him in that trade up, so, their first and what they can get for GP helps.

Based on a previous thread i made about the past few Adam Peters draft moves, i expect a trade down or up, so we won't be picking at 29

Isnt Pickens kind of a head case? Im hearing reports the Jaxson Dart and Milroe are going first round

I agree lol. Its unlikely since there are what? 5 elite guys in this draft, thats debatable of course. But yeah, unless someone unexpected just falls to 29, i think we trade out

good possibility

I'm not questioning Duke. He's probably right, but if you google "Pearce character concerns" the articles will pop up.

I am still not clear where these "rumors" came from. I spoke to a good friend who is much more connected to the program than I am and I asked him about Pearce. He said "What are you talking about?".

Pearce could be an awful person. He could be in the mob, or could have run some type of money laundering scheme out of his dorm room. Stranger things have happened. Perhaps Heupel and the coaches protected Pearce during his career? Maybe the police were involved and helped cover up his infractions. I believe this happened to Winston at FSU right?

I don't believe any of that is true, but could very well be duped by the TN propagada machine. Like I have said, if we don't draft Pearce, I hope it is because of his on field play that can be proven, not off-field rumors that cannot be proven. As I said, having followed Pearce's recruiting and having watched evey game he played in, I would draft him in the 3rd or 4th round. His stats speak for themselves as well as his tape. He doesn't have 1st round or even 2nd round talent IMO.

What bothers me is who is Cory Kinnan? A simple google search reveals that he is "freelance journalist" and according to his profile he "does draft stuff". As I told Dean, these are the individuals who start rumors, spread rumors, and compile mock drafts. They are not connected to NFL organizations or college teams either.

Please don't hear what I am NOT saying, but this is the reason I don't do rumors. Chasing rumors IMO is a waste of time. These so called experts want clicks and they cook up stories or parrot what someone else tells them.

To me, it gets worse every year and I believe it is a shame. Either TN did an amazing job of hiding Pearce's sins, or people like Kinnan are the true heroes who are uncovering truth.

Again, please don't hear what I am not saying, but I am going to walk away from this one. I will let you boys take it from here.

It's no skin off my back Duke. Not here to debate Pearce. I have no idea what kind of person he is. Just passing info. Just from clarity Keim confirmed their are concerns and i can pull up at least five more articles from different sources, not just the one you referred to. Like I said, makes no difference to me. I want a running back.

I’ve heard there are off field issues with a few of these top edge guys, including Pearce

Not really a "head case" but like most he's a diva who wants the ball in his hands, which is a good thing.

Dart can sling it, and will likely have a nice career in the league. He has the capability to win games, but I can't see any team winning a SB with him as their QB.

Milroe, has been compared to a Jalen Hurts type but I don’t see him as getting there for a number of reasons, to include his likely draft destination, and historical norms that still have some as seeing him as merely a "running QB."

That said, because of the immediate desire to get "that guy" at the position, Dart and Milroe will likely be beneficiaries of teams reaching, but I'm not sure if either will be first rounders. Given the choice, I'd bet on Dart to Crack the first 32. Milroe most likely goes in round 2.

You think Sanders goes round 1?

Unfortunately, yes!
Months ago when I did my QB evaluation, I graded him out to be a early second rounder. I'm sticking with that evaluation, but again, because of "QB hunger" he won't make it past 21 (Pittsburgh).

Btw; There's going to be a lot of chatter leading up to and during the draft about Sanders. Don't be surprised if/when some team overdrafts him (Giants) while passing on Hunter and Carter, OR a team like Pittsburgh, breaking years of protocol trading up to get him. (I'm thinking a trade up to 9 with the Saints)
