Gobert killed the Wolves team before it ever had a chance. I get the Wolves wanting anything to hide the layup line that KAT was allowing in the paint, but it is the worst trade.

Maybe Nico can become GM of the Spurs and trade Wemby to the Wolves for Gobert!

I know NBA can work some magic around the limits, but I don't see how unless Randle opts out.

When Reid opts out wolves still sit at 175 not counting on cap holds for picks. Expected cap is 156 i think?

If Randle also opts out Wolves temporarily drop below the cap which allows a lot more options to retain Reid, then hopefully NAW for MLE.

Yeah, the entire boring format for the NBA playoffs works in huge favor of a team like the Lakers who can make better use of the extra days off than a team full of kids like the Wolves or Thunder
