People around here are football people. This was always a baseball city when my dad was coming up. Now the Eagles rule so the fans live and die with every week of baseball like it’s a 17 game season. Romano could be a solid arm in the pen but he had a tough start to his season. That’s like 3 weeks of baseball. People can be dumb haha.

He better be good! All Dombrowski did was add Romano and traded for Luzardo and decided to run it back after 3 straight mediocre deadlines. If Romano doesn’t become an arm that can give them high leverage innings yikes for Donvrowski’s job. Middleton (the owner) is impatient.

PB can hit, he just doesn't do it consistently. I think there is room for improvement, on the other hand (...are 4 fingers and a thumb - Dan O'Neill) he's had a lot of MLB ABs so this might be it. Haven't heard any concerns about his managing the staff, which is job 1. Certainly don't see any better alternative.

He was looking like a guy who hit well in the 1st half and then tanks spectacularly in the 2nd half. The fact that his first half has started so poorly is concerning but the season is still young.
