Ya but they followed his signing up with a journeyman lineman that at midseason will question why they still have one of the worst lines in the game. It is a yearly amusement of mine with the Hawks. Build the cheapest line, question it at the end of the season, wash, rinse, repeat.

He's a bridge QB that can be cut next off season if needed. He'll either get us in the playoffs or have a high draft pick.

I understand that, but this will be our 4th consecutive year of having a bridge QB. It's getting old. It's like the Mariners having a 'bridge' offense while waiting for their blue chip minor leaguers to arrive.

They won a superbowl 11 years ago and they did it primarily because Schneider had one of the greatest drafts in NFL history. But those days are long gone.
