I was reading the owners can go up to 242 and they were thinking of Fried and Evo

Yeah, i never worried about the TV money. The budget restraint has always been the Luxury Tax, in my estimation. That leaves about $20 million more, I believe.

He is probably okay, but we have more than enough starters and we could use his money elsewhere.

They were mentioning earlier today that the Rangers clubhouse facility is better than any other. That should definitely help.

• Rosenthal reports Texas backloaded its offer for Fried (and “might be doing same with Eovaldi.”)
• Because the Eovaldi deal is pending a standard physical, the Rangers will maintain a 39-man roster — meaning an open spot — heading into tomorrow’s 1:00 Rule 5 Draft.

On the other hand, when Dane Dunnjng had hip surgery, it really helped him to improve.

As long as I am mentioning Dunning, I will say again that I would have no problems with him as our fifth starter in next year's rotation.

Bob Nightengale says the Rangers are still looking for another starter. Lol.

Burger led the Marlins last season with 29 home runs. He is a year away from arbitration and under club control for four more seasons.
