The proof is the only sport that doesn't have declining ratings from a historical standpoint is the NFL and to a degree college football.

Now we have a sport smashing tv ratings records because most of their games have been at a more convenient time frame for kids and the east coast.

Do you suggest the entire tournament gets played between 12 pm and 6 pm then? This been the same start time as long as I been alive and now it’s an issue. Just like west coast baseball teams playing at 930 and 10 pm est. everything is all of sudden a big deal

even if they started the game at 8 as you suggested then he still missing the 2nd half. The only real solution to this is to play the title game on a Saturday or Sunday. Can’t start a game in the middle of the week too early

Why can’t they watch the first half now? Not every kid in the world bed time is 9 or 930. There are still kids on the east coast that can watch the first half tonight

and can’t compare anything to the nfl or cfb. Those 2 sports play most of their games on the weekend. NFL start their weekday games at 815 and doesn’t end until 1130. Weekend schedule is much easier to figure out

It actually used to be in prime time. It was a recent change to the afternoon slot but those on here won’t remember that because they just became fans last year. Used to be 7 PM or so and ESPN moved their baseball to ESPN 2
