There are times when I fear for the safety of Rick Westhead - He does such great work uncovering/reporting these scandals, it has to be making people in hockey (coaches, executives, and players) very nervous.

iirc Rick Westhead came on board with tsn shortly after tsn (Bell) lost the broadcast rights in Canada to Sportsnet (Rogers) (He still worked for CTV on W5 before that) ... one thing I do remember thinking at the time was " oh it's on now " lol

Cant imagine he would be a tsn employee if they retained broadcast rights. He would have still found a medium to do his work ... but yah there would have been pressure on the execs to make him go find that other medium

i didnt even know about this wacky youth olympic games/tournament ... its 15 15 15 periods and minor penalties are 1:30 long ??? and they have a separate 3 on 3 tournament too ???

The Tigers are looking pretty good this season (McKenna has had a fantastic January), but they are certainly missing Lindstrom as they've been up-and-down since his injury. I think they're going to be even better next season once the Ruck boys join the team. If Lindstrom gets sent back to junior hockey prior to the ending of his 10 game stint with the team that drafts him, that would be fantastic for the Tigers.

speaking of kids sports and expenses. Hopefully things get real for these grifters. For the cdn hockey playing kids/parents its also a buyer beware when dealing with Hockey Canada breakaway leagues/teams.
