Well it isn't like he hasn't been in talks with MSU....in case you haven't been paying attention this week so I guess we shall see....
It’s one thing for rumors to be he is talking to a team. It’s another thing to not only offer a huge contract but for Meyer to accept it.

It’s fake

He’s nuts

I agree. I was glad she squashed it. I'd rather go back to the Clay Helton days. Sure, he'd probably get us in the cfp and maybe even win an NC, but then there'd be some scandal to deal with when he left.

Because he coached Bowling Green and Utah up....why not MSU? Not like he hasn't turned around programs before....

Yeah, but that was before he started winning NC's at major programs. If he returns to cfb, it's more likely to be at a bigger name school, not MSU.

You don’t get how tainted his name is

Early in his career. You have to start somewhere

Like I said we shall see....
As of right it’s fake whether he goes there or not. Like Trojan said they are trying to jump the gun and get lucky.

If he accepts some offer 2 weeks from now this still will mean nothing

I do. But I also know that desperate programs sometimes make desperate hires hoping that "he's learned his lesson" and will behave this time.

If not for the nature of the last tOSU scandal and USC having a female President, I'm not sure he wouldn't be coaching USC right now. From what I heard, there were some big donors ready to write some big checks.

MSU isn't exactly a bad place to go. Not like it's a MAC or MWC school....

It's still a stepping stone school. Remember, Harbaugh coached Stanford...he ain't going back there.

And I think MSU is better than Stanford because the Cardinals are the Ivy League school in the soon to be dissolved PAC.

My point is if a good coach gets there? It's not impossible to turn them around.

Of course not. But at a program like MSU, it is far more likely to be a coach on his way up who will turn the program around and use that to get a job at a bigger program than being able to bring in an established coach.
