Hunter Renfrow almost got traded to the Saints at the deadline.

Glad it didn't happen. I think this new coach and AOC will utilize him more.

McHoody killed Waller's usage and shipped him off. He killed Renfrow's usage and almost shipped him off too. Traded for Adams to play with his college QB, then cast off that QB in favor of Jimmy. Offensive mastermind my ass.

Yeah that’s one of the pieces of criteria. Personally, I don’t have a lot of respect for ND or PSU. I don’t think I’m being inconsistent here. I think both ND and PSU are overvalued. I guess we will see.
OK, but who have UM or UGA beaten who is better or really even close to the level of PSU and ND?

I can agree Texas, Oklahoma and maybe washington have better single wins than either of those 2.

totally forgot about that but he sure did.

What a toolbag
worse might have been those who believed him, and there were many (again, not here necessarily). Turn in a gameplan Saturday? Uh..OK. Let's say they didn't like it. When were they going to create and implement the new plan.

That was priceless.

I don’t know that I’ve seen OSU look good against that aspect of their schedule though. They don’t seem to have the kind of offense that can run and hide. Their offense has been very inconsistent. Based on what we’ve seen in the playoffs, to win teams have to score 35+ against top competition. I don’t know that OSU can do that. Just my opinion.
with some of the defenses we have had that might be true, but maybe will be different with this D. We'll see.

That’s why I said it’s going to come down to Mccord and Henderson being healthy. Michigan has the advantage with the experienced team and QB but Georgia is in the same place. 1st year starter. They don’t play a soul till the SECCG. At least Mccord was tested. Trust me I worry about him too but the defense looks a hell of a lot better than last year. Ohio St has been healthy for basically the last 5-6 weeks. That puts all the pressure on Mccord and Harrison Jr.
A healthy Henderson and if Egbuka comes back soon that will help the offense tremendously
Yes......obviously have been spoiled with elite QB play for a while and McCord certainly isn't that. But I wonder if a case could be made that maybe him and THIS defense (along with the weapons we still have on O) might be a better option than those QBs with those defenses where it seemed no lead was safe.

I'm somewhat casual when it comes to baseball. I follow the Dodgers closely, but once they're out, unless another team catches my interest, I just watch a few innings here and there.

Phillies caught my interest this year so I watched a good bit of their games, but haven't watched but a few innings of the WS.
Same.....I saw the 9th inning of Philly/AZ game 7 and nothing else the entire playoff. Only caught that as I happened to see a score that it was the 9th and I do like seeing teams go nuts after winning a big series/game.

I don’t know that I can put any of their opponents up there. I’m just going by the quality of football I’ve seen them play, not their opponents.

Playoffs usually don’t bode well for mediocre offenses propped up by elite defenses. Too much time for staffs to prepare vs those defenses.

You can know you cannot put any up there. For UM take your pick among maybe Minnesota, Nebraska and Rutgers. For UGA maybe Kentucky?

Teams tend to look better against poor opponents.

Oh well.....doesn't really matter. No dominant team so just get in.

Maybe...but I'd say fully healthy we are much better than a mediocre offense. Getting/staying healthy another story. I'd be inclined to have Henderson and Ebuka go live in a bubble until UM game.

Actually OSU hasn’t looked very good against poor opponents.

Your QB is the epitome of mediocre. Your run game is wholly inconsistent. That leads to the characterization of mediocre. That WR corp is exceptional when healthy. But you need a QB to get them the ball and he’s just a guy.

The run game does look better with Henderson. Agree 100% with that comment.

while not what we have been used to I'd say McCord better than "just a guy". But even if you find him to be average, the elite talent around him makes the O better than average.

Man, I am not saying Ohio St has looked great and that has to do with injuries, OL and QB play. That being said....

Ohio St Poor opponents
23-3 - 1st start for Mccord
35-7
63-10
41-7

162-27 +135

Good-respectable opponents
37-17 vs Maryland
24-10 vs Wisky (could be their worst performance against a good opponent-not weak)
20-12 Penn St (last min TD by Penn St)
ND

UGA vs poor opponents
48-7
45-3
24-14
49-21
37-20

203-65 +138

UGA good opponents
27-20 (I will put Auburn at good with a 4-4 record)
Florida
Kentucky

Sure Georgia's offense has looked better but they also have a SOS of 100. Ohio St is at 15

Run game is inconsistent bc Henderson has been hurt. Their other RB's are GL slow backs.

Your QB is the epitome of mediocre.
Beck must be mediocre too.

Beck 263 attempts 2,462 yards 14 TD's 4 INT's - 9.4 Y/A
Mccord 231 attempts 2,163 14 TD's 3 INT's - 9.4 Y/A - this is with Egbuka missing the last 4 games.
