Crawford activated
Ramos down

And that is likely the last we will see of Ramos as a Giant. He must be an absolute asshole or something. The org has treated him like shit.

Never mind. Ramos still has an option after this year. I was CERTAIN this was his last option year…

Good to have Crawford back for his last game, hopefully he propels the Giants to victory. It would be nice to see him celebrate like it is the World Series.

Changed to the Off Season format. Rookie status and options SHOULD be accurate. Please let me know if you see anything off…

I removed the rookie status from 7 players. Bitch as I will, I like to see kids get time. And kids got time.

Mathias DFA’d

So both of our big deadline acquisitions have now been DFA’d.

Well done, FZ. Or is that Kap’s fault as well?

Falling into Melvin means he fell forward anyway

I don’t think FZ is the problem.

But your roster needs the very top end guys

You find mid tier guys better than almost anyone

My general narrative is that while I strongly disliked Kap, he was not the SOURCE of our problems. He was a side effect. I am glad he is gone, but he was a scapegoat.

FZ is really good at finding dropped quarters in the parking lot. But you can’t pay your rent with found quarters.

And it could be argued that FZ is good at that because he spends all his time looking on the ground. Other GMs/FOs could be as well if they spent the same effort doing so.

That’s why I think FZ can be the absolute greatest assistant GM in the history of the game. But as THE man, he just doesn’t have the proper vision.

Umm...they weren't "big" moves. They were fringe moves at the margins.

Of course they weren’t “big” moves. But they were our BIGGEST moves. Making a move like that trade was so worthless, it ended up having a negative net effect because 1) it was an insult to the players and fans and 2) any time spent working with Seattle putting it together was a waste of time.

It was a clear non-transaction at the time the trade was made. This is not 20/20 complaining. It was just an attempted distraction of the fact that nothing was actually done.
