Ballpark is a sell out today and tomorrow ( Fathers Day weekend ) big draw games, no matter how ho-hum the product on the field is.

That is the sad reality of Mariners.org.

They seemed to have righted the ship just a tad with Wong being near perma-benched and AJ Pollock near the same with the call up of Ford.

Teos bat has came to life just a bit ( long over due ) Julio still struggling - Cal struggling - Kelenic doing just fine after a torrid start - Geno is a mess with way too many K's. The entire team struggles to get base knocks when runners are in scoring position. Then again the entire team struggles to get hits when the bases are empty ( ie: we are a lousy hitting club near bottom of MLB team stats )

But the stadium is full this weekend .... rinse repeat

Two on and Kelenic watches changeup right down the middle. A couple pitches later watches a fastball right down the middle. Next pitch swings at ball over his head. Crazy crap.

Yea the Mariners have the market cornered on terrible AB's

Knotted up 2-2 final few innings ... same ole' story; Not enough base hits and not enough run support.

God damned fucking apple TV bullshit
I seem to be in the minority here but I actually like their coverage. I don't know what it is and it could be in my head, but frame rate and picture quality just look better.

My biggest gripe is that the smart TV in my living room is a bit dated so I have to hook up my laptop to my HDMI cord to my TV to watch it there and I like browsing the internet on my laptop while I watch the games.

I can understand why people would be pissed if they don't have Apple TV+, although I think it's supposed to be free to those in the local market? Honestly idk. I remember I was able to watch the games before I had a subscription, but it could be because I was streaming it on my Macbook Pro.

And yet he was pissed about his speed rating in MLB The Show.

I've noticed that Julio has had a similar problem. He has hit into 9 double plays this year in 66 games, in comparison he hit into 7 last year in 132 games. Kind of surprising given his speed.

#1- Black pants look like spandex (hate em')
#2 - Lots of potential talent on this team
#3 - Pretty decent pitching
#4 - Piss poor management
#5 - Need MAJOR front office changes
#6 - Get some bats before the Aug 1 deadline
#5 - OR......sell the franchise to a group that knows how to, and wants to, have a winning team.
Looking more and more like a ho hum bullshit season just like so many others the fans have put up with for a couple decades.
I think the jerseys from last night are really cool. I'm probably gonna buy one at some point this season.

The Steelhead uniforms they are wearing today are super simple but I think they also look really good.

George Strait is performing at Lumen Field tonight, likely the reason for the sellout today. A lot of people likely going to this game then George Strait after.

It's not free and I refuse to pay for it so I won't watch a single game ever on that platform.

I think it was free last year but it pushed me to a sub page this year and I was like

Im Not No Way GIF

Anyone know if there's some sort of injury issue with Logan Gilbert? IMO he's a much better pitcher than his ERA indicates.

It's also strange when you look more at the numbers in comparison to last year. His K rate is up, his walk rate is down, WHIP rate is down, batting average against is down, etc.

Heart of the order with a guy at 2nd base extra innings:

2 strike outs on a ball that bounced in the dirt far outside off the plate.

3rd out was a weak 70 foot routine ground ball to the SS for the easy 3rd out.

We have the worst line up in all of MLB.

Just f*%^*)g pathetic

Not only can we not plate a free runner at 2nd base with the game on the line, we cannot even advance him 90 feet to 3rd base.

Cabballero needs to explain the strike zone to the rest of the ball club. he is clearly the only one on the team with an understanding of what pitch to swing at and when to take a pitch off the plate for a ball.

Need more hits - need more runs. No hits at all for the last 6 innings.

CWS bring up a green as grass rookie ( 2b ) and he gets 2 knocks for them to WIN the game ( 1 hit to tie it at 3 and the game winning go ahead hit to get to 4 runs ) he knocked in both runs with simple base hit contact. Off of our top relievers who he has NEVER seen.

Same ole' .500 club we will be all season ( maybe worse if we are sellers at the trade deadline )

Owners are probably pretty happy that a bottom 5 team in the league can still generate them a ton of revenue. Expect more of the same next year and beyond, I guess. Pretty hopeless for actual M's fans.

Another give away game. When you have chances to win without even needing a hit, you have to come through.

I will beg again. Please stop batting Cal RH. Clueless.

How can France, a non power hitter who is suppose to be all about average, can't make contact with a runner on 2B in extras. Insane but typical.

When you are no longer surprised by these outcomes, there is a major problem.

Once I was reminded about being able to change audio to ours, it was fine. I do like the video better.

That's too bad.

It could be because he was the 3rd overall pick, but I always thought he'd eventually figure it out. Dude has wicked power, just didn't make enough contact and struck out too much.
Another Top 5 pick we ruined.

I haven't heard of any injury, but his control has sucked of late. A lot of pitches up. We still hate to have our pitchers pitch up, down In and out. We pick a spot and throw it there until something happens. It is weird.
