Congratulations @HurricaneDij39

Nuggets clearly the better team in the series.

Ill be rooting for them in the Finals

:laugh3:

He's not a real Nuggets fan. He jumped on the bandwagon only a couple of seasons ago.

My first Nuggets game Melo was still playing for them.

Really? That seems odd as I don't recall him being a fan of theirs that long.

Don't really remember him being a fan of theirs before Jokic started improving his game.

Why do you hate capitalism and people with absurdly unique talent being able to monetize their talents? Why do you have a problem with people realizing the American Dream?
Right? And it's not like people in other professions don't negotiate PTO, vacations, etc. into their pay packages.

If he did that he’d be in favor of max contracts rather than letting players get what they can get

Wonder if he was saying the Pacers are built not bought back then?

Gonna be a tough call.

On the one hand, I do like seeing teams that have never won a title finally get one.

On the other hand, I love Jimmy Butler and want to see him get his first ring.

Think I'm just gonna hope for a really good 7 game series and be happy for whoever wins.

Look, I’d definitely do this if I’m the Lakers.

Yes, you want to preserve the D’Lo salary slot.

But, fuck paying him or Beasley if you don’t actually have to.

Thoughts?

The closest a team has gone back from winning down 0-3 that I can remember was the Portland Trailblazers against the Mavs. They came back to tie the series and in Game 7, they were actually leading 52-39 at Halftime iirc before the Mavs came back and won.
I could of swore the cavs came back from down 3-0

In my personal opinion as much talent Irving would bring to the team he is such a headcase is he worth it? That’s the question

Yes.

James has played too may mpg this postseason at his age.........ridiculous playing a 38yo 40-plus mpg.

Irving gives them a legit star and he is a scorer.....his head is questionable at best but James might be able to keep him in check.

I would sign and yrade Russell in a heartbeat and include a 2nd or 2.

Acquiring him means James could be the #2 or even #3 option.....and he would not need to play as many mpg.

….and that is a valid question.

Imo, it would depend on the contract length.

If it aligns with Lebron, Id do it.

They have to walk a very thin line here.

I would not pay D’Lo what it would cost to retain him.

But, they can’t lose the salary slot.

He is a different type of mental case than Kyrie.

Outside of his first stint with LA, I have not seen evidence that he is a locker room saboteur.

But, you have to put out a missing person’s report on him 3 out of every 5 games.

There is a reason every single team has moved on from him.

The Wolves preferred AARP Conley over him because Dlo has zero value if he isnt scoring and can be unplayable at the end of games.

That’s not a guy you give a multi year 30 mil deal to.

Eh...

It's tough. On the positive side, there would be no worry about him laying a dud on offense like D'lo does. For all his toxicity, Kyrie can absolutely ball out. But on the negative side (and I'm excluding how toxic everything is around this guy wherever he goes), he lowkey misses a lot of games. Even without Kyrie's general weirdness, he's consistently had some minor health issue the last several seasons where he'll miss more time than you would expect.

So when you factor in that along with all the other bullshit with him, I'd still say no even if he would be more consistent (when he's out there) on offense

Surprisingly, D’Lo isn’t much better the last few years, attendance wise.
