Rancid is a bit strong. lol

But I think most folks figured they'd figure it out for the playoffs and to be fair, they did beat the Kings in Sacto twice.

Well, to also be fair im like 95% sure the wolves won twice in Sacromento.

Warriors Twitter is embarrassing itself trying to blame the result on officials. The real reason they are home is because a team built on shot making didn’t make shots.

For a team that lead the league in fts, Lebron does too much crying for me
He's taking solid contact on nearly every shot. Problem is, he complains when he doesn't too. Expects to get "earned" calls from the refs, can't even get rookie calls.

lol

You had the team that gives up the most free throws while shooting the least playing the team that shoots the most free throws and gives up the least.

Did folks expect there to be no disparity?

It's hard to get to the free throw line shooting 3's.

Plus the Lakers' inefficiencies lead to open shots; perimeter defense, transition defense. That plus the Warriors' offensive tendencies and defense heavy on reach-in steals is a strong recipe.

Lakers transition defense will be really tested by the Nuggets. They’re a really good transition team. Lakers need to get to the line and win the pace game. If they slow it down and run an efficient half court offensive game against some suspect defensive pieces (Murray, Jokic and maybe Porter depending upon his matchup). Putting the ball in the basket allows to set the defense. Lakers can’t let the Nuggets packing it in lull them into shooting deep jumpers. They can’t shoot efficiently. That’s a ton of misses that become transition the other way. Lakers have to play complimentary basketball with offense setting up their defense and Vice versa.

You said the Warriors were rancid.

That is not true.

They are a good team also. Lakers were better.

11-30 on the road is fucking awful.

Good teams dont have that type of road record.

44-38 says mediocre as well

They are definitely better than their record suggests. As are the Lakers.

Does that mean they are some great team?

No.

But they were correctly one of the top 6-7 teams in terms of odds to win a title.

In other words, they are not “rancid”

Your Wolves own that distinction.
