Honestly Claxton would be perfect.
He would be and you guys have picks out that ass so you can afford a relative overpay. I’m just saying Claxton will probably cost you a couple of those 1sts. Maybe one of the 2023 picks and one of the 2024 picks.

Its time for a consolidation trade of sorts for sure. We will see what Prestis plan is.

I’d put them top 4 in the East if everything stays the same. I say if everything stays the same because Harden is potentially leaving depending upon some factors and depending upon how the Celtics do there has been talk about Jaylon Brown potentially getting dealt.

I think Portland will ultimately work closely with Dame on sending him to a destination where he wants to play. I would imagine Miami is one of those spots. Maybe you can divert Herro to a third team to bolster the number of 1st round picks. I would think Herro Lowry and 4 firsts.
Yeah....I think they would be top 4....maybe even top 3.

Dame and Butler should be fine doing what they do.....and Bam can play D and rebound....be the #3 on offense.

Bam has become an underrated facilitator from the top of the key for them. The thing I like about this Big 3 is that all 3 guys can facilitate. I still think the best scenario for a team is when they share the ball and generate something like 75% of their made FGs coming with an assist. That big 3 has the potential to not only be good in their own right, but they have the ability to make the “others” better as well.

All that being said, we know Buckets wants to come home to Philly and will force himself out.

I agree.

Miami with those would be one fucking scary 3 or 4 seed. Dame and Butler is just insane. Then add Bam? Good luck.

Their ball movement would be very similar to the Warriors....

Got to have a big besides Chet. One that can play the bigs straight up and let Chet come from off the ball. Can’t be one that slows us down, need a Claxton type.

Not easy to find.

At least not in the draft.

Most of those types of prospects available late lottery need time to develop.

That is why they need to trade some of that built up draft capital....

On other website....I put 900 on Sixers ML. They better not let me down.
Should have checked with me if you’re talking about Game 1 today. Sixers are super vulnerable for 3 reasons:
1. Element of surprise - they don’t know how Vaughn and the Nets will approach this series offensively or defensively
2. Day game - Sixers have been ass in early day games for quite a few years.
3. Extended rest - when Embiid and Harden get extended rest they shot less efficiently and often take 2-3 quarters to get back in the flow.

I can totally see 2 scenarios for Sixers in 5. They lose today and then rattle off 4 in a row after the Nets shoot their load and Sixers adjust. Or they win the first 3 games and then don’t know up and bring Nets intensity in a game where Nets are playing for their lives and pride. Lose game 4 and come home and wrap it up in 5. Sixers have never swept anybody in round 1 during the Embiid era.

People looking for reasons for the Sixers to lose. They are by far the better team, they will be fine.
For the series? I agree. Feels a lot like the last time they played the Nets. They lost game 1 and then won 4 in a row. Don’t get me wrong. I want a win today and they’re favored for a reason. If I’m betting it though, I take Nets and points.

Agree.

Salary, age, skill set fit the Thunder timeline.

Not sure what the cost would be, which is why I mentioned Capela too.

He will be a free agent and they have to pay Okongwu.
