That's the thing though, he doesn't play big. He's not physical like he used to be, he's not bringing much offense and he's been abysmal in our end. But I guess he practices hard or something.

For me, it's Holtz but who's he taking a spot/playtime from? Nathan isn't that much different. Unless we want to try out Foote finally?

Idk, can be very wrong, but I feel Timo is better for Nico than for Jack. Like Timo is a scorer than compliments Nico more so than a scorer in Jack needs at Wing.

But obviously, if it ain't broken, don't fix it?

So I would have liked a depth defensive defenseman but I think our deadline was pretty solid. Lazar brings some playoff experience, he's buddies with Haula and adds some defensive responsibility/physicality. He's also signed for 2 years at $1 million per, good price for a reliable 4th liner.

Curious how the lineup shakes out. Who is odd man out? Boqvist? Bastian?
