This definitely deserves its own thread.

If a blockbuster trade doesn’t get one, then we might as well just stop making them.

If Kyrie would have agreed to a 2 year extension, SportsHoopla would have given him his own thread. But its too much of a risk to give up assets knowing he could leave this offseason. SportsHoopla was wise to be cautious here and stick to the Main Thread

Did Dallas say they'd give him 4 years? Not going to wade through the main thread.

They can’t even offer him 4 until the offseason. He can sign 2 yr extension now, as he stated he doesn’t seem interested. So the Mavs have to hope he wants to stay or they just take their cap space and spend it as they please

Has anyone heard what Dallas wants there? Like they want to sign him but maybe he doesn't? I suppose no one knows yet.

I am guessing they want him long-term bc why trade for him. I’m sure it depends on how he plays this season and his attitude. In the end, it’s up to Kyrie

Oh C'mon, we all know it's the fault of the Nets, Cavs, Boston and pretty soon the Mavs for all the issues with Irving.
I forgot the Jews, it's their fault as well

I really don't think he's that much better than Brunson.

I mean, he's better but I don't think enough to put them over the top.

I think they should have resigned Brunson and kept adding pieces.

Hard to add pieces when you are deep in the luxury tax snd Kyrie is much better. Not saying it works though bc he is a looney

He's better but I don't know if in the way they need to put them over the top.

Brunson is a winner. Of course, I'm biased.

NBA these days is about chemistry. Lot of teams that are just so-so on paper with a lot of wins.
