So we will just tell woman who were victims of sexual harassment that "life isn't fair"? This is your solution to a very real and large problem? Wow, just......wow.
So what did congress’s actions do to help them? I’ll tell you. nothing. And how large is the problem? Didn’t see that in the congressional report.

Even then, that sack is not on Gruden, and I can’t stand Gruden. Unless Gruden instructed whoever the RB was to allow the defender to go unblocked, that is just football.

That sound you heard was Breed's point going over your head. The point was, if true, Gruden made a decision based on personal feelings, he benched a RB who was better at run blocking for a guy who missed a block that nearly cost a leg.

I give you this. Your a dreamer.

The story was dying, nothing was going to happen and nothing was gong to change. Until Congress got involved and suddenly it's was once again on the front page of ESPN and elsewhere. If you don't see the value in that, not only for the fans who wanted a new owner but more importantly for the victims who wanted justice and more importantly change, I have no idea what more to say to you.

Do you really believe the workplace environment for women at Redskins Park is exactly as it was in the past after all of this? I sure don't. And we have the press, the brave victims, and Congress to thank for that as they refused to let the story die and kept the pressure on.

And it will die again until something else comes out. So congress spent my money and nothing but grandstanding to show for it.
is redskins park the same today? Of course not. But do you think any justice for the victims from congress? No.
Do I think congress had anything to do with any changes at redskins park or any other team? Nope. Danny’s actions already had those in motion. So, again, what exactly did Congress do with my money?

so an AG couldn’t accomplish the same thing or more ? You think the Bezos owned WAPO wouldn’t keep it alive in that scenario?

I'm not just talking about the owners, there were several culprits in Washington in addition to the owner. But it now applies to the owners as well. This story was dying, Congress kept it alive and in the national news. Now every employee at every team, and this is not limited to just workplaces in NFL teams, will get a strong message that their little games will no longer be tolerated and have consequences. For the other owners perhaps they will think twice before acting like a pig to a female employee. Regardless "life it not fair" is not the answer.

I'm not saying this Congressional investigation alone will result in a huge change in workplace environments across the country. But it sure didn't hurt and it served a valuable purpose other than to get rid of Snyder.

So what authority does Congress have for such an investigation?

I decid3d to go back and look at the play because you claim the point went over my head. The RB on the play released and was not even in pass protection, so what is Kari Bibbs even talking about. I couldn’t make out the number. Bibbs also claims he was the better player but what happened to Bibbs after he left Washington? I find it hard to believe he was better than anybody.

Do have any idea how much time Congress wastes? We can start with the filibuster, which by definition is a huge waste of time. They spend hours and days discussing the most minute issues and all the back and forth.

All you have to do is see the comments from the victims. Damn right they feel justice was served with the actions of Congress. Again this story had died. Goodell thought he would dismiss it all with is bullshit suspension and bullshit "oral only report"

Well the story did not die, it's front and center again. The victims got exactly what they wanted (if it plays out) in the removal of Dan Snyder. They were very public that this was their stated goal. We got what we wanted as well. It's what most EVERYONE wanted, including most of the owners. And again we have Congress to a large extent for making that happen.

The AG in DC was active, so are the ones in MD and VA. When the DC AG announced his intent it did not make the national news the way it did when Congress was involved. Again THAT made headlines nationally, it's just what was needed to keep the story alive. And in the process it no doubt improved work place environments elsewhere as I have already explained. This is also what the people, their voters, wanted. Well at least the Dems, their Republcans voters apparently wanted them to spend their time discussing some bullshit bill that will have zero effect on their lives.

Now let's compare this with a Rep on the House floor rambling on for hours and in some cases days in a filibuster, something you probably support given your hard line right wing views. Which one was a waste of time again?

I tried to add this thought but it was too late. I hate that damned 10 minute timer. The victims literally thanked Congress for their actions. So yes they got the justice they very clearly were searching for, the removal of Dan Snyder which was their stated goal. And they publicly thanked Congress for acting.

Where is it front and center???? Please point me to any publication that has this as their top story. Or even on their front page. as dreamers do, you see things as you want, not as they really are.

Was there a jury of peers? What criminal charges were filed? How can you call it justice if there was no due process involved?

Again, what gives Congress the authority to go after a private organization?

well your left wing emotionally charged no foresight leanings dont get the filibuster and why its a tool for the senate used by both parties i bet you dont know that trump wanted the end the filibuster did you ? and i was opposed to it then

imagine for a tiny moment in that brainwashed head of yours if trump got his way ? imagine all sorts of heinous things he could have done and without any way to stop it ? its a check and balance in our form of govt

now back to the basics , the proper forum for the redskins situation is through the dept of justice where complaints of this nature are processed or respective state attorney generals

the job of congress isnt to keep stories alive to get an outcome you and i may want . its job is to pass legislation
