Yup, they're gonna crucify him.

Meanwhile because he hit nobody, Tigger Woods skates....
You might be right but there's still a chance he could get wreckless driving or something. Not sure how the state laws work but he's got some serious injuries for his stupidity.

"No reason to test his blood"....

Fuck that shit, he didn't know where he was or what happened.

If it was you or me or Britt Reid they'd be testing the blood.

I don't know any more than the rest of us. But, the Tiger Woods crash happened on a bad curve on a steep downhill at like 7 AM. He was in a sponsor car he was not familiar with. He hit a tree and probably had a concussion.

If he was DWI, yeah, throw the book at him. The must have blood work done at the hospital. I'd go by that.

Twice the speed limit.

Anybody else would be fucked.

They did not do official bloodwork.

Celebrity status.

They didn't do official bloodwork because the evidence didn't support that:
- He was on his way to work, some sort of celebrity event where he would be interacting with other people.
- Other than excessive speed, there were no signs of intoxication, such as weaving, or alcohol on his breath.
- Celebrity or not, tests take time and cost money.

SOB should be locked up for at least 10. Does anyone know if the 5 year old recovered?

Reid, 37, was suspended by the Chiefs from his job coaching the team’s outside linebackers and his contract was not renewed. Days later, the team lost to Tampa Bay in the Super Bowl. Eventually, Ariel came out of the coma, but the long-term extent of the injuries came into focus.

"When she woke up, Ariel didn’t go home," Miller said. "She tried to relearn how to walk and talk and eat before we left the hospital. But she couldn’t. She couldn’t run in the yard anymore like the sweet, innocent Ariel we had known.

"We were discharged from the hospital to our small home not far from the highway where Britt Reid hurt us. Ariel laid on a couch with a feeding tube in place. I would load her into my car and take her to therapy. She couldn’t walk. She cried in the wheelchair. So I carried my 5-year-old like a newborn baby.

"When we drove to therapy, she would vomit in the car due to her new motion sickness. She still has this motion sickness. Britt Reid did this. He wants probation?

"... Today, Ariel drags her right foot when she walks," Miller said. "Next month we’re going to see a doctor about leg braces. She has terrible balance. She takes longer to process information than her peers. She will have to be in special ed. She wears thick glasses that she never wore before.

"This is our life."

Having a prescription for childrens strength meth doesn’t make it okay for this guy to be driving under the influence of it.

It’s his first time for that one, but holy Christ, how does this guy not get decades?

He’s been criminally endangering people for atleast a decade and a half. Three years isn’t anywhere close to long enough for him to even correct himself. If that’s even the goal of locking somebody like this up. Kinda questioning that as an option.

This happened in a city where his father is treated like a god because he won their sports team a championship, of course he was going to get a light sentence.

Reid's kids were pretty messed up... Didn't his other son commit suicide? Maybe he should've worked hard on being a better father...

That's a pretty fucked up thing to say about Reid. Sometimes people are just fucked up in the head.

Look at the Menendez brothers. They murdered their mom & dad. Does that mean they were bad parents?

They were terrible parents, especially the abusive dad, but obviously didn't deserve to be murdered.

The older son overdosed. He was a drug dealer for the majority of his adult life. These are grown men, you can't put their actions on their dad.
