They wereSomething has to happen...he needs to go. You can't tell me that Stirling, Richardson, and Sarver were worse than Snyder.
No, we don’t need some tech gazillionaire who will think of the team as a toy. We need someone who has strong connections to Washington so the team won’t end up in Albuquerque or San Diego.Bezos has the money to get a guy like Sean Payton in here, build a retractable roof stadium in the District, demolish Asburn, build a real facility, and dare I say change the name?
But if its Bezos or Snyder, the choice is clear right? No, we don’t need some tech gazillionaire who will think of the team as a toy. We need someone who has strong connections to Washington so the team won’t end up in Albuquerque or San Diego.
Remember Rollerball? All the teams were named after corporations. Who wants to cheer for a team called the Washington Amazons?
Either way, the team is fucked. But if its Bezos or Snyder, the choice is clear right?
Synder is from the DMV. LolNo, we don’t need some tech gazillionaire who will think of the team as a toy. We need someone who has strong connections to Washington so the team won’t end up in Albuquerque or San Diego.

i would be happy to see a fair bidding war for the team, but when you’ve got an 800 pound gorilla in the room, if he wants the team he can buy it, no question. A guy like Jerrah, rich but with too much ego, still would be a better choice than somebody who would run the team like a corporation from the other side of the country, or move it there.
Some don’t like Kraft because he built a winning dynasty from a team we used to call The Patsies, and built the stadium and practice facilities with his own money, but that kind of ownership is what’s needed for Washington. Pittsburgh will rise again because of good ownership. On the other hand, The Jets and Giants won’t last long unless they get lucky.
Praying the pressure grows here. This cannot let up.Radio silence from every owner. Not one said "Irsay doesn't speak for me." Not one.
He has no power. This is on the owners. Goodell works for them. I do blame him for not requiring a written report from the Wilkinson investigation. That is one of Goodell’s biggest problems. He buries his head in the sand and hopes problems will go away. Look at every domestic abuse allegation. The Watson thing still isn’t settled. The facts are known, but Goodell won’t do a damn thing for many months. He leaves everyone in limbo while he makes up his tiny mind.
This suggests that everyone should relax, this is going to take a while.
