Bc it's a ridiculous non-call. The outcome has nothing to do with iti mean, seriously? who the fuck cares, your browns won the game.
ridiculous non-calls happen every game, every weekend. it's a non-starter.Bc it's a ridiculous non-call. The outcome has nothing to do with it
yeah, that's been Tomlin's M-O with a HOF qb lined up in the shotgun; he doesn't have that anymore. I just don't see it.I had them around 7 wins before the season as well. I was way too pessimistic about the offense, and so far it looks worse than I thought. Tomlin isn’t going to move on from Canada, and by the time he finally puts in Pickett it will likely be too late.
That said, Tomlin’s M-O is to right the ship and somehow contend even with a shit cast of coaches and/or offense, defense, etc. He typically finds a way which ends up dragging out the inevitable. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if they got to .500 again
Trubs has completed 14 of 19 passes for 143 yards and most importantly......they are winning, 14-13.
WTF...my stream quit
The OL'S fault and their stupid ass OC's.And they lost.
Shows how bad Baker Muh field was that a backup journeyman already looks so much better than him lol
He did it with Mason & Duck in 2019. Which is debatably worse than Mitch & Kenny. He still has the defensive firepower to do it again.yeah, that's been Tomlin's M-O with a HOF qb lined up in the shotgun; he doesn't have that anymore. I just don't see it.
You play Pickett when he's ready. No point rushing him in too early.
Here I am once again to tell you its not the OL's fault...The OL'S fault and their stupid ass OC's.
Some players go in early and learn. Others go in early and learn the wrong things. I wouldn't mind seeing Sam Howell get some playing time for the Commanders this season. He isn't ready to play good football yet but he looked ready to learn from the experience. I wouldn't want to see Matt Corral play for the Panthers this season under any circumstances because he looked totally lost in preseason.
He should have been a top 10 pick, and I firmly believe this. I also believe in 2-3 years time this will be gospel. Some players go in early and learn. Others go in early and learn the wrong things. Pickett isn't a top 8 overall pick. There's not really a lot of point comparing him to top 8 picks, (and mostly #1 overall picks). If you want to do that then it would be fairer to compare him to ALL QBs picked in the top 8, many of whom buckled as rookies. Then again, he isn't a top 8 pick.

Pickett didn't get enough credit for the player he is during the draft process. Everyone wanted to focus on his hand size instead.
I'm still amazed he fell when there were 3-4 teams in desperation mode at QB within the top 10-12 picks. My ideal scenario pre-draft was the Steelers moved UP into the teens to grab Kenny if he fell outside the top 10.He was definitely looked at as a top 10 guy before his hand size deal.

I'm floored that he dropped to them at 20.
There was a group-think opinion that the 2022 QB Draft class was poor and that became a stigma on all the QBs - valid or not. From what I saw in the preseason games this was a pretty decent group. I didn't see superstars but I saw multiple QBs I thought would be around for 6-10 years. He should have been a top 10 pick, and I firmly believe this. eh...i'd have to look at the numbers, but i'm pretty sure opposing defenses weren't quite as aggressive as they started to become, towards the tail end of 2020, keeping everyone in the box and daring the steelers offense to go further than 10 yards downfield. i'd be willing to bet my next paycheck that if you brought in duck, and went back and forth between him and mason NOW, it would be a much different story. He did it with Mason & Duck in 2019. Which is debatably worse than Mitch & Kenny. He still has the defensive firepower to do it again.
