Speaking of itching, now I am itching to start this today POSSIBLY. I know most of us have a busy couple weeks of fantasy football so the earlier we start the better. Either way it won't matter bc of the slow draft but still.

Are you still waiting back to hear from the one owner?

We still only have 10 confirmed... trying to get back to 12... so not happening today...LOL

its a fantrax league based on the scott fishbowl

Took the rules from there and then we have been editing it year to year to fix some things we didnt like...

even though it is a superflex, QB scoring does not make it as clear as normal to always start 2 QBs.... you still probably should... but it is not as damning as a normal 2 QB league...

We will try to update who is OTC on this thread but if not you should look over your settings in Fantrax and make sure you receive notifications. Anytime you are on deck or OTC you will receive email notifications.
We usually have a thread, if not this one, for the draft so any conversation is usually here.

As not everyone has email pushed to their smartphones may I suggest we start a chat/text group that will most definitely help keep things going quickly. I primarily use Facebook IM and SMS texting to communicate with friends & family I know not everyone is on FB or won't want to become FB friends with their league mates and not everyone will want to give their phone #s to each other but their are texting apps that don't require someones phone #. Again, this would provide for immediate notification that a picks been made.

We got a 12th... once @Nosferatu joins the league, i can start the draft...


I think it is best to use a 12 HR clock with sleeping from 11 PM to 8 AM...

using the sleep function will allow us to change the clock later on this draft without anyone's clock timing out because they are sleeping...


you are still allowed to draft when the draft is in sleep mode...

I don't mind 10-12 draft spots in a 12 man league. Not a fan of 9 though.

We get 12 hours but during 11 pm and 8 am those hours will not count.

Just out of curiosity, where is everyone from originally and where do you live now?

I'm originally from Vallejo, CA which is about 45 minutes north of San Francisco.

I've lived here in San Diego since 2007. Although San Diego is nice it's only 3rd on my list of favorite places I've lived after Lake Tahoe and Napa.

I am a native of Colorado. Currently living in Littleton which is a suburb of Denver. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado- graduated high school from Glenwood Springs. So I am an outdoors guy even at the ripe old age of 67.
