Rollins is horrible. He's right there with the Miz and Theory in the most annoying convo.

That just proves they’re good at their job.

They are supposed to be

Trash like Becky is not, and she is

Say what you want about Lynch @The Q .

She earned some brownie points with me for being a tough badass at Summerslam.

But now it becomes where did she sustain the injury

Mediocre show. The 1st women's match wasn't a great match, but it was the best match on the card. meh.

No, it was not a great match, but considering what Becky did for 20 minutes, it deserves credit. Bianca is just not that good. Men like her get ridiculed all the time, like Goldberg being a one trick pony. Brock doing the Thez press off the bucket was the move of the night. I still dont know who refused to get run face first into the bucket, but it was never positioned right for that, the edge was always there.
Miz holding Logan Pauls hand thru a match was the best performance. All these best laid plans are just blowing up due to injury just like under vince. Why continue with the Bayley scene if there was no way Becky was going to be able to follow thru?
I hope there is a two month plan of having Ciampa beat up Theory. I am guessing if Lashely drops the belt next week they will be able to do it.

Miz is a treasure who gets under appreciated in his own company

Compare him, Jobbing to bad bunny and Logan Paul vs cry babies like Sasha banks

The last man standing match was pretty good and saved an average at best card

I can’t wait for drew/Roman, it’s been a story basically 2 years in the making

Yeah, I can see Miz helping Ciampa like he was helped all this time and ending up in a program with Lashley while Ciampa gets Theory. I am pretty sure that Theory is going to be the first to not win the top belt with the contract. The only thing I can think about is him cashing in to get the US title back.

I wasn't ragging on anyone. All the wrestlers are tough as nails and I give them credit for that. Lynch has presence but her character has been made to look weak which hurts the show. A big stadium show has different visual issues to a smaller indoor arena. This hurt Belair and made her look small. Having 3 stadium walk-outs after the match, (which necessitated Lynch supporting Belair, otherwise 3-on-1), detracted from the match. That part would have been better done on tv.

I thought Miz and Corbin guiding their 'celebrities' through their matches were 2 of the best 3 performances on the night, (Montez Ford the other). That's pretty much the problem. Everything else was lackluster. Inconclusive or disputed outcomes are a buzz-kill and this show had 3 of them, (4 if you include the tag titles match). It was like Kevin Nash booked the show.

As the heel they make almost every heel look weak.

It was a nice change from the burial machine she was.

Wwe doesn’t know how to build a non burial face on that side at least.

But few of the men even raise others up with them

Did Tony Kahn shit his pants watching summerslam? If HHH keeps this up then AEW is late 80’s JCP. Summerslam was outstanding besides the mysterio’s match and the Roundy/Liv match.

you just need to consider the pop that Becky got when she returned last year. I never really liked this version of her, but that gave me goosebumps. Then she continued to shed her baby weight and ended up looking like she is down to 105.
I think he tried to get Bayley the same pop, which is why he did it in front of 50K. I dont follow real closely, but I got the Bayley thing, did not get the other two. Especially when Corey says who ever expected to see whoever sky here when it was the very first time she even appeared under that name. When the announcers make them appear bigger than they are it drags them down. Thats why when Becky got injured, they could have stopped with Bayley and Bianca and just got that started.

Thats because AEW are actually pay per views not just a subscription service special.

And to be fair, at this point they aren’t really even in competition.

AEW is after that 18-35 group

WWE is after families and trying to get the 12 year olds sucked in

not necessarily, with the PG-14 or whatever it is moving to, with the "banned words" being removed. That points to trying to get adults interested so the 12 year olds follow them and become fans.

AEW has their problems. After Tony mouthed off about being the longest running CEO in sports entertainment, he has announced how he is delegating power and then Warner Brothers hit them with a bomb and are cutting anything they can take a tax write off on. They scrapped the Batgirl movie after spending 90 million on it for a write off. Tony might be joining Impact on Axes, unless Warner brothers owns them too.
