I believe this also but, on a vet deal, what better team guy to bring in to assist and retire at years end. I think he gives solid reps while CY is out along with the young guys.

I was merely thinking about "doing the right thing" as an organization. I'm certain RK retires as a Washington Football Team member.

Dan rarely does the right thing. It would be nice to see him retire here, not so much as a Commander. Team leader in sacks. The two guys playing end right now have not played up to his level. Maybe down the road they will.

Ryan Kerrigan announced his retirement from the NFL after 11 seasons.​

Kerrigan spent his final season in Philly but signed a one-day contract with Washington to retire on the team he spent a decade with. He began his career as the 16th overall pick in 2011. A dominant pass-rusher at his peak, Kerrigan earned at least 13 sacks in four different seasons. The four-time Pro Bowl nominee ends his career with 99.5 sacks and 120 TFLs. Both of those marks go down as the franchise record for Washington.
