I think he wants to go to the Heat.

But, every team needs a professional pest.

Great energy player.

You just can't count on him because he misses a ton of games.

ID rather have Beverely than Lowry- ESPECIALLY considering the $.

Lowry signing was awful.

I will say if the rumors is true and Utah does really like Sexton then a trade centered around Sexton beats any Knick offer
id take some picks for Sexton if they were pretty decent and save the money for a max FA next year--- if that was an option......

Cavs are in a good spot----

I just hope they dont give LeVert a crazy extension- not sold on him yet- id rather pay Sexton if I had to choose.

Cavs could easily get off of Okoro and Osman if they wanted to and open up over 50M in cap room next year.

Lowry had a fine season. In the playoffs he tried to play on a hammy that he hurt early in the atlanta series. This was an injury that would have likely kept him out close to a month in the regular season

I think Mitchell is a Star.

Not a Superstar.

But, definitely a All Star.

As for why trade Barrett?

He's up for an extension and I can't imagine what that would look like.

He's just okay.
Ohh I agree Barrett is ok but I do not believe the Knicks think that. They can give up the farm for mitchell but what is Brunson, Mitchell and Randle winning you? A low playoff seed possibly.

As far as Mitchell I will say he has star moments but I still consider him a high all-star/star borderline player. I dont like what the Knicks gameplan though. Overpay for Brunson and then give up the farm for Mitchell. That being said, I donf want the Cavs to go after DM especially with what Ainge would be asking

Just say you didn't watch the heat play last season
you paid him like he is a difference maker and he is not anymore. He is old, injury prone and has lost a good deal of athleticism. You dont have to pay a over the hill guard 30M+ to be a good locker room guy and play "gritty" mediocre defense.

paying Robinson and Lowry about 50M combined is atrocious.

And they were one game from the finals with 4 of their top 6 playing with injuries that would have kept them out multiple weeks in the regular season.

Your Miami obsession is embarrassing. They overachieved and had a great season but yet you are talking about contracts

Ok, what I ment to say is that Barrett is still young and has the potential to become Danny Granger.
I think he is just another guy honestly. I didn’t like him from the start, thought he was overrated. High volume shooter, inefficient and just an average all-around player that has too much talent for who good he really is. He has these wow moments but leaves you disappointed in the end

If you did a redraft of his draft class, he is still a top 5 pick

The Knicks have 8 tradable first round picks and Barrett, Topin, Quickley.
I forgot they do have Reddish too but how much value do these guys have. I would think they want the centerpiece to be an all-star type of player or maybe they would take a TWolve type of package.
A young player, a couple role players and a ton of picks.

Like you said Barrett is up for an extension, let NY pay him.

I would ask for a combo of players from Quickley, Grimes, Topin and Reddish and 4-5 1st’s
