This is great. Good for you young fella.

There's a fine line between confidence and arrogance.

Ja ain't beating MJ in a game of 1-on-1 in his prime.

Ja is a lot thinner than MJ. And 3 inches shorter.

For me he does. His upside seems to be a glue guy who can rebound pass and finish and make guys around him better. I made reference to a specific era of Divac.

Divac. He might be the father of the NBA flop.

It's just a crazy thing to say. Ja's a damn good player. He's fun to watch and the sky is the limit for him. But no part of his game is on MJ's level.

Eh. He's more explosive off the dribble. But MJ could back him down

I would hope so for any young player but it doesn’t always work like that. So far he plays like Rubio doesn’t mean he can’t be better. He has more size and a better rebounder. I expect him to be much better but we will see

Yep, a guy can play like another player, just not be quite as good, but still be a great player.

Kobe played like MJ and even though he never quite reached MJ's level, he got close enough to be among the all time greats and arguably the greatest 2 guard not named MJ.

He also said he is confident he can beat Messi in 1 on 1 soccer.

Definitely doesn’t really believe that.

I heard he also said he's faster than Usain Bolt.

I seriously have to wonder how much of Jordan you saw for you to say that.
Just bc MJ is the best doesn’t mean he was the best at everything lol. That’s the problem with homers, he was perfect-but he really wasn’t. There have been many players “more explosive” than MJ. Russ and Ja are some of the most explosive players in the game…ever. It is what it is. They also play different positions.

It’s an idiotic conversation

I'd take Steph, Ray Ray, Bird and Reggie Miller over MJ in a 3 point shooting contest, but he was still greater than all 4 of them.

MJ's all around game, offense and defense in his prime, was better than any guard in the league. He had the complete package.

All of them were great long distance shooters. Wonder what Bird would have averaged in today's game with the emphasis on the three?

Nothing else to do today. Triple digits for a second a day in a row. So I'm staying inside. Went out to El Dorado Canyon this morning.
