Hot take...

I'd take Dejounte over Marcus.

Wouldn't take me more than a 2nd to think about it.

He was not far off a triple double average last year.

Totally agree.

While Marcus is my current favorite Celtics I'm well aware of his shortcomings at PG. No the best distributor. But to balance that out he's a helluva defender.

With the Spurs asking for four first rounders for Murray the Celtics should see if any team will give up five 1st rounders for Marcus.

Dude is really micro-Draymond.

His value to your team is different than his value to others.

Both those guys are exactly where they should be.

Remember Evan Turner?

He was ass in Philly as the #2 overall pick.

Found the perfect situation in Boston and played so well.

Portland threw him a bag, he leaves, career goes right back in the toilet.

I'm sure Turner doesn't regret taking the money.

But, fit matters.

That would legitimately be the greatest player ever

Yes Jayson GOATum's size, scoring ability, rebounds skills, unmatched court vision and second to none defensive skilllllzzzzz are why he's the bestest player evah.

shoutout to k_2_t

Ah okay that makes sense then

Had a few decent Euro players that used to run with us when we'd play pickup at the University of Toledo but the only NBA player was a WNBA player lol
At the time Mobley was going into his Senior year at Cardinal Dougherty. Crazy side story…later in life came to realize that my wife’s cousin was there that day and played in the same pick up game. We figured this out and I’m like “wait…you must have been the white guy” and he’s like “yes! Exactly! I was the only white guy in the rotation.” He stayed close with Cat through the years. Cat is good people who never forgot where he came from. He used to have the wife’s cousin down to Houston all the time when he was a Rocket.

With Boogie Cousins on the board. Thanks for the reminder of yet another Sixers draft faux pas. Remember…if the Sixers had their choice Embiid would have been Wiggins or Parker.

And an assistant coach on the Celtics now.

Dude, you don't wanna compare draft day horror stories with me.

I'm talking Alfred Hitchcock, Rob Zombie, Sam Raimey, Stephen King level fuckery.

Of course I remember Evan Turner, he's a Buckeye.

Marcus is the heart & soul of the Celtics. He fits in very well with this team. And like Draymond his importance to the Celtics isn't just measured by the box score.
