They took 4 intentional fouls in the final minute. That foul calls stat is very deceiving for those who didn't watch the game

Oh so now I didn't watch the game? What's wrong with you?

You said the other day that in game two Jimmy Buckets shot 60% when Smart guarded him. Yet Heat players shot 3-11 from the field when he was the primary defender.

So how did Jimmy Buckets shoots 60% against Smart when no Heat player did in game two?

I am not looking up the stats, but you do realize both can be correct, right?

If Butler shot 3-5 and everyone else shot 0-6

He actually shot 80 % against Smart. I believed @Manster7588 posted the offical stat found on NBA.com

He shot 4-5 against Smart

Well, per NBA stats he shot 80%, problem is he took 5 shots vs. Smart. You can deny it all you want, but Smart did have a major effect on Butlers play. Question is does Butler adjust, or can Smart continue to limit him.

Per NBA.com’s Stats, Smart was the primary cover on Butler in Game 2, guarding him 32 of 63 Heat possessions. Against the DPoY, Butler mustered only five shots. And while he made four with an assist, Smart clearly had an impact and was a large reason why the Celtics head back to Boston with home court advantage and a 1-1 split in the series

@Wamu lol so yeah what i said was accurate

Yep exactly. Butler shot 4-5 vs him in G2 and rest of team went 0-4

Smart just limited him in his shot attempts.

You can't hit a shot if you ain't shooting.

Yeah I just appreciate you finding that. I will now use that all the time to see how people did vs a certain player

Yes the disrespect from the media this year been insane

You all got swept in the first round last year. Make the finals this year and see how many more national games you get.

This whole notion Miami is overlooked is ridiculous. No they aren't the Celtics or Lakers...and Jimmy isn't quite the tv grabber that other stars are. But they've had plenty of years where they had plenty of press.

With the Big 3 yeah but the teams with Jimmy? Nope none at all

Even if you watch the pregame/halftime/post game shows following these games (especially following heat wins), it is never anything about the Heat. It is all Celtics talk. Halftime last night had Miami with a 15 point lead and not a single word was said about Miami. ESPN is confusing me for NESN these days

Yes Miami had the best record in the East, but if your the media trying to act like you know the future, wouldn't you lean Boston considering how they finished after their early struggles.

Also wasn't the media crowning the Suns already?

They were removing Heat off national tv this year in February and March when they already established as a top team in the league lol.

At least 2 or 3 of their games between late Jan-March got removed off national tv this season

I think you're way over analyzing this stuff.

But it's a good place to be anyway. Take that perceived disrespect and use it. Believe me as a Pistons fan it's not like I don't understand what it is like to be the wet blanket on what the league would prefer.

This is the new media spin since the game last night to discredit miami

I came across at least 10 verified accounts since the game last night using this spin to take credit away from miami as always. First time i see the media invested so much in which team is winning quarters
