With lowry back this should remove martin from the rotation.

Bench rotation should be Gabe, Vic, Tyler, and Deadmon (unfortunately)

I expect an aggressive lowry if Boston bigs aren't switching those screens

Jimmy shot 60% when smart defended him

Very interesting. Explain this article then.

Even Jimmy Butler had plenty of praise for Marcus Smart after game two (nbc-sports.com)

Part of the article- The Heat shot 3-11 when Smart was the primary defender.

So Smart held Heat players to 27% shooting when he was the primary defender but somehow Jimmy Buckets shot 60% against him? Well something doesn't sound right.

Well, per NBA stats he shot 80%, problem is he took 5 shots vs. Smart. You can deny it all you want, but Smart did have a major effect on Butlers play. Question is does Butler adjust, or can Smart continue to limit him.

Per NBA.com’s Stats, Smart was the primary cover on Butler in Game 2, guarding him 32 of 63 Heat possessions. Against the DPoY, Butler mustered only five shots. And while he made four with an assist, Smart clearly had an impact and was a large reason why the Celtics head back to Boston with home court advantage and a 1-1 split in the series

I think you're just looking through the wrong window. Yes for the game Butler shot 60%, problem with your stats is not all of his shots came against Smart.

I know. Came across something on Twitter from a popular heat page

Jimmy wasn't the issue. I would take high 20s/low 30s on 60% shooting every night

I agree Jimmy wasn't the issue.
I think Steven A is a blowhard, but he's right in saying the guys around Jimmy HAVE to step up.

I really dont think Smart can limit Butler day in day out, I just hope he can do it 3 out of the remaining games.

Jimmy's got a lot of size on Smart. Maybe he will take advantage of that.

I love Strus. Heat always make gold out of undrafted guys.

They do.

But again, it isn’t going to be easy if Boston sticks with the same defensive game plan.

Do you start Lowry or do you bring him off the bench? Tough call for me.
