Ramona Shelbourne just wrote an article about it. They could have chosen Jimmy and parted ways with Brett Brown and traded Simmons. They could have gotten nice value for him in 2019. And Simmons might have benefitted from that as well.

I mean, it’s a fun exercise but they fucked up. And I’ll never forgive the NBA. That 2019 season and off season they would have never gotten away from Brown because Elton Brand GM was wet behind the ears and Brett Brown was co-GM and had an Al Horford fetish. The Sixers are in that spot because the NBA decided to step in and meddle with their franchise and then they get burner gate with Colangelo who is trashing Embiid with a fake Twitter account and wanted to build around Simmons. Being a Sixers fan is a tortured existence haha.

Forgot about the Horford snafu.

Yeah, that was a rough free agency.

But, I still believe Embiid will get you a ring.

He just needs a little bit more help.

Really don’t feel bad about Doc losing his job watching him have no answers for that zone. Why not put up a lot of early shots with Harden Maxey and Harris and have Embiid and Thybulle stalk the offensive glass? I’m a fucking former high school defensive coordinator. I don’t know shit. But try something?!?!? How are things going to change doing the same force feeding of Embiid in the middle of the zone? He clearly isn’t shooting the 12-15 ft well with that mask. Just straight malpractice to keep trying to make failure work.

Feels really good to know that the Sixers assisted with that sign and trade. I really love being a part of those stories. I feel really attached to Jason Tatum and Mikal Bridges as well.

They got Doc Moses. They swung like 6 times on A.I. and never found his guy. Best hope now is Maxey is that guy for Embiid because they don’t have the roster for a big move.
