The Sixers are a team filled with nice guys
nice guys finish last
They need talent of course but they need some nastiness on that roster

That's why I wanted the Sixers to invest in Butler instead of Harris
Harris is fool's gold
He'll give you seemingly good games but there is a lot of empty points there
He's like a cockroach - when the spotlight is on he disappears

I'm not saying he is the only reason the Sixers went tits up but certainly a big part of that
And one criticism I have for Embiid is that he doesn't play with fire enough
he can be the biggest mofo out there but too many games he plays meek

It's bizarre because Harden knocked down a few 3s in the 2nd quarter and then....... they threw out their offensive game plan in the 3rd quarter and settled for contested jump shots.

Didn't work out so well.

If you could pair Russ's heart with Harden's game you would have had a champ in Houston. Not sure Harden quite has it anymore whether he cares or not. But it's hard to watch dude in game 3 and 4 of this series and 1 and 2 of the Raps series and believe it's the same person that played tonight also.

Ramona Shelbourne just wrote an article about it. They could have chosen Jimmy and parted ways with Brett Brown and traded Simmons. They could have gotten nice value for him in 2019. And Simmons might have benefitted from that as well.

I mean, it’s a fun exercise but they fucked up. And I’ll never forgive the NBA. That 2019 season and off season they would have never gotten away from Brown because Elton Brand GM was wet behind the ears and Brett Brown was co-GM and had an Al Horford fetish. The Sixers are in that spot because the NBA decided to step in and meddle with their franchise and then they get burner gate with Colangelo who is trashing Embiid with a fake Twitter account and wanted to build around Simmons. Being a Sixers fan is a tortured existence haha.
