Next to Hogan’s Big Leg Drop, this was the WORST finisher in the history of wrestling.

He has been eliminated from the playoffs in 5 games. In that series, the opponent targeted his defense in every action they ran because he is a liability at the defensive end. That doesn’t seem to factor in this regular season award apparently.
Good thing playoffs don’t count towards the MVP voting, I guess…

I am right. Joker is a liability defensively.

Your focus only on defense is funny.

Jokic won MVP. Nothing you say will change that. So congratulations on your biased moral victory I guess. Nobody other than you cares that Embiid is the better defensive player. That wasn't a factor for MVP award.

But don't worry. Embiid can still be your MVP.

It's the sixers fans saying he won't get one.

4 guys did it so there was precedent for embiid to get the mvp. But whiny writers that he troelled on twitter didn't vote for him.
I’m not a Sixers fan.

And I’m very confident he will never be an MVP.

I don’t think that makes them better than the Mavs Suns Warriors or Grizzlies. Jokic didn’t have to play a regular season game with pressure all season. They were counted out and not supposed to do anything. They went like 3-1 vs the Warriors and in all 3 wins caught them without Draymond. It’s a different story when you’re a name team or you rank highly in the standings. Add Murray and MPJ and Denver is still not a good defensive team and Jokic is still getting hunted in a playoff series.
Now you're just clowning.

Now you're directly comparing a historic offensive season to a rookie of the year season. So, lets get back to the point. When there is no one else on the team to do shit then extra stats just fall in your lap.
You were the one trying to compare Jokic and MCW. I think it's an absurd comparison.

Extra stats may fall in your lap....but efficient play does not.

Jokic didn't have to play a single game this season with pressure?
Nope. Zero expectations. If they dropped a game it was no big deal. They were never going to be good enough to climb into the top 3 and the West was so bad they weren’t going to drop out of the play in territory. Pressure doesn’t come when from the first tip of the season everyone is handing out mulligans because you’re missing guys.

I haven't read through most of this thread but judging by the first page it looks like a whole bunch of pissed off Sixers fans.

It’s six pages and nobody gives a fuck about the Denver Nuggets on here so not a bad guess.

I mean, like others have said, an award won twice by Jokic and Nash and only once by Shaq, Kobe, and Durant is just....suspect. Yes in the years they won them they had great cases, but often it was because of voter fatigue or injuries to better players or just that's the way the ball bounced.

But that's part of sports, the arguing over these things. People are likely to put Jokic in the same boat as Nash, as far as guys who were great players but not back to back MVP great.

Yes it's efficient for stat prduction which is fantasy basketball not real basketball. You should want to learn the difference, but you don't have it in you. No desire to get better. No heart to learn from your betters.

Eh, stats do measure things that matter. The numbers are just records of what the players did.

Hasn't been an American to win the MVP since 2018. God damn immigrants taking our jobs.
