Team was first because players had no rights and pay was far more limited.

Difficult to say conditioning doesn't exist when you big names like Kobe and Lebron are well known for the workout regimen, offseason and during. The money has made players less likely to play hurt and risk further injury.

It’s always one or 2 players mentioned in each major sport who are in top condition…. They all should be , especially, since you mention the MONEY.

And yes, not only do the players not want to play hurt, the org supports it .

And who really suffers ? The fans

It is in everyone’s best interest for injured players to get healthy.

Again, with all they have today , why does it take so long to recover ?

And that is why I do not believe in load mgmt. you still show up, you still go through your routine , then you’re on call if there is an apparent injury. That is not time off, a day at the beach is a day off, away from it all .

First the narrative was that he was faking mental illness to not play for the 6ers. Now he is faking injury to not play at all?

A guy with severe anxiety disorder is not likely to make his first appearance of the season in an elimination game.

I respect all religions.. never should it interfere with a game ! When I was part of an org. Easter Sunday , we had to go to 8 o’clock mass so it would not interfere with the teams plan. And that was spring training…

If ben simmons didn't lower the bar on 'pathetic' your post would qualify.

Ben simmons can't play post-season basketball because he can't shoot. He can't shoot because he didn't want to. He passed up a dunk and cried about it, he has no position and he cried about it, his coach agrees with reality and he cried about it. He quit on basketball.

Ben has caused his own "TOUGH TIMES" because he is a lazy soft douchebag with no heart.
