It should also be noted that Bruce Brown ran his mouth and only found a way to put up 3 shots today. Nets can’t do damage without the role players stepping up.

They got 36 from Dragic, Claxton, and Seth....solid production

The Dragon is a damn good playoffs player especially in a reserve role
No doubt.

I've always liked his game... (when he isn't hurting the Celtics)... Dragic is a competitor.

There was a series against Boston a few years back when Dragic was on Miami and he put the Heat on his back for entire stretches... his offense won that series for the Heat. I can't remember the exact year without researching.

He was standing right there.
Kyrie ain't stopping Tatum there without fouling...

... (which he could have tried, but instead went for the strip).

With the time left (and the chance that it might have ran out before Tatum released the shot), I don't fault Kyrie at all.

Blaming Kyrie for that is wild. Durant fell asleep on defense and let Tatum that way. Had nothing to do with Kyrie.

The guy under the basket who Tatum spun around missed his rotation

Kudos to Udoka for not calling a timout there...

... you get a better chance for a chaotic situation where a guy can slip open.

He was standing right there.

Tatum was kd man. He was ball watching and is the reason tatum got open. Kyrie made a swipe at the ball. Contesting tatum shot does what there? Tatum got 6 inches on him. Swiping/reaching and praying you get the ball is the best option when you are in no mans land

Could he at least have had his hands up? Or is that not in the narrative?

Kyrie is always the victim. What a fucking loser man. Other players receivr backlash all the time and they don’t have to talk about it in the postgame. Little crybaby

What he said?

Kyrie did go for the strip.

It's a risk either way.

Bottom line: Kyrie is not equipped to stop a Jason Tatum coming hard at the basket.

Yeah to act like he didn't try just isn't true. KD ball watching was the biggest issue. If he doesn't then that possession ends in a contested 3 by Brown, Tatum, or White and you live with that

Biggest issue outside of kd is 2 guys running at smart on the 3 pt line.

Nah. Guy standing under the basket was guarding no one. Gotta be ready to jump the passing lines. Play good help defense.
