Great first game in this series. This looks like it may be the best series by far.

Turned out to be a classic! If Brooklyn gets past the Celtics and their defense to me they become the favorites to make it out of the East. Because they will have shown all the regular season drama is over and they are ready to go.

I felt good on the C's getting past them but this game made me second guess that. KD played a subpar game by his standards and they still almost won. If they had Ben at even 75 percent would be very tough for Boston to get past them. So I will amend my initial prediction to whoever wins this series and then the Milwaukee one as the team that takes it all.

honestly, they were fine last year with Dantoni and the Celtics coach on staff. Either one of them should have been the HC

He hit a three in the final minute to put the nets up 3. They did a good job of forcing the ball out of his hands on the last POSSESSION but they did not do just fine guarding him down the stretch. He literally destroyed them the entire quarter

This is what the Celtics have been doing with everybody this season. Apparently, it isn’t being officiated as if it’s illegal. If allowed it’s a great way to throw off the timing of pick n roll and pick n pop.

I gotta be honest, I was all tied up with family and didn’t see much of the game. I’m going by the last 3-4 Boston games I’ve seen. Maybe we’re talking about two different things. What I’m talking about is a guy playing through a screen by using hand leverage to move the screener as they go over or under the screen similar to a wide receiver getting off a jam of a defensive back. Like I said earlier, if it’s allowed it’s a nice scheme because it throws off timing and spacing. But to the letter of the rules, it should be a foul. I’ve seen it so much that I feel comfortable stepping out and saying it must be being officiated as if it’s legal.
