It's amazing how the salary cap, albeit is aimed towards keeping a competitive balance, severely underpays/overpays players. Guys like Westbrook and Wall are overpaid significantly and they're able to command these high salary amounts that eat huge chunks of the salary cap. Then you have guys like Steph, Lebron, KD as examples that are underpaid as they're huge draws and outplay the value of their contracts, usually.

If players would be paid what they're really worth Westbrook would be giving some his salary back to the Lakers.

It's amazing that you no longer really hear anyone stick up for Westbrook. He's had the opportunity for playing with significant talent during his career, without ever winning. Whether it was with KD and Harden, just Harden, and now AD/Lebron (I know AD's been hurt).

With Westbrook, it's hard to win with him as your main guy, and he looks to be at best the third option in LA. Yet, LA's fighting to stay in the playoff race at the moment. I just don't see a team winning anything of significance with Westbrook on their roster, especially if he's eating up a sizeable chunk of the salary cap.

I think it's fair to call him a chemistry killer.

Morant should get the starting nod over steph but the streets not ready for this convo
Tatum easily has the worst FG% of his career and he is shooting almost 43%. Steph is shooting 41% and his average for his career is 47%. He is only getting the nod bc of his reputation and team record. He is a reserve at best.

Y’all may not like my style, but, everything I post eventually comes to fruition …

Any team in the East with the exception of 2 or 3 teams can win it all for all the reasons I been postin about that y’all have been calling me many bad names…

And y’all so thick headed y’all climb a glass wall to see what’s on the other side

2 or 3 teams? I wouldn't go that far.

Teams I feel have very little chance at this point in the East: Orlando, Detroit, Indiana, New York, Washington and Atlanta. Atlanta is the only team that you could argue bc of their track record but they aren't the same team this year.

Very few, if any, athletes are really worth the money they're paid. And it'll only get worse.
They're worth every penny. Ever heard of capitalism?

I don't know if the Lakers will find a team interested in him.

He'd be a buyout with Houston, just like Wall. They would want something additional to make the transaction, depends on how much that needs to be. Westbrook is a few 100K cheaper, but any savings would depend on an negotiated buyout amount.
