I think most of the NBA fans on here thought we were getting Hield......trading for RW came out of nowhere.
Some of us might have joked about it during the regular season but it was a major surprise.

Real talk.I said I understood the thinking and that Lebron has made it work with other players who didn't fit. I also said that it would be his biggest challenge. I don't think I ever said that I thought it would work.
Don't recall any other Lakers fans saying they thought it would work either.
Technically, it hasn't "not worked" as there are 40 more games and playoffs left.
But the returns so far are not what I would call "favorable". lol
I was on the fence but I know I did mention liking Hield more the Lakers bc of the better fit next to Lebron.
You did? Don't remember that. lol
LOL, I thought RW would help shoulder the burden of the regular season for the Lakers and allow them more rest for AD and Lebron. I did say that he probably would have some fit issues, but overall thought it was a positive.
When you're wrong, you're wrong, lol.
The reality is this.
In the current roles with their current teams the value of Bam vs Gobert is incredibly close.
But if I had to pick 1 to build a team around for the short term, it would be Bam hands down.
Utah has built their defense very specifically around Gobert’s skill set. Bam being more versatile, it is a lot easier to put guys who fit around him. Just more options, more ways to go.
Long term Bam’s age makes it a no brainer.
Guy creates his own shots as much as most centers.Does anyone not see a correlation here about how all of a sudden Wiggy values high percentage, low volume shots from his center when the Cavs JUST SO HAPPEN TO HAVE A SIMILAR TYPE PLAYER?
Valuing a guy for put backs and lobs is great, but let's not pretend he's more valuable offensively because he doesn't create his own shots.
"Slamming" Bam? For calling Gobert a better defender? thought he also said Bam is a better fit for Miami.Yep i just don't get what his goal(wiggy). He just slamming Bam for some silly reason
Not sure you meant to, but you made a case for Gobert. This whole Bam vs Rudy debating is straight nonsense. Bam is 24 and can still improve. Gobert is 29 and is what he is, a very good player and mainly a defender...close to the basket. Bam can defend players almost anywhere.
Bam is 99.6 on shots 0-2 feet, 39.1% on shots 0-3 (odd), 24.7% on 3-10, 25.5 on 10-16, and .004% on 16-treys.
Gobert is 99..7% on shots 0-2 feet, 72.4% on shots 0-3, from the basket, 25.9% from 3-10, .014 on 10-16, .003% on 16- treys.

How is that slamming Bam?He been slamming bam for 2 days now. Gobert is better on offense because he doesn't try to better, barely shoot, and basically only dunks. Using Gobert shooting percentage as an argument knowing he only dunks us stupid
It's hilarious you said the Knicks would be better if you were their coach. Nothing else needs to be said.
How is that slamming Bam?
what might be stupid is "slamming" a guy who on 6 or so less shots/game can score as much as the guy taking 6 extra shots. It's kind of ma good thing he can get dunks and easy putbacks.
FYI, though, I don't think you are "slamming" Gobert anymore than he is slamming Bam.

He got no burn here cause he’s soft and toppin is the future…If he can’t get minutes with the Knicks not sure how he gets minutes in Atlanta. Atlanta got a guy on a rookie deal they will let walk.
