i think the time has now past where we look at 1st round picks more valuable than a QB like rodgers or wilson

you could have 21 first round picks but if your QB is teddy or trevor or paxton it won’t matter .

plus those QBs make others better

Paton is a fool to sign the WRs without some concrete plan in place to substantially upgrade the QB position.
So he should let them leave and be stuck with no QB and no one to throw to??? How will that attract more QB talent?

Callahan, Ojemudia and Kiser activated off IR.

Malik Reed joins PJ Locke and Mike Boone on the covid list. All 3 out this week.

The way I'd put it is that Sutton and Patrick had a real leap of faith to sign those contracts without a QB in place. It would seem easier to sign or get a veteran QB with quality receivers in place. Signing the WRs is part of the plan.

And with the reports coming out that Teddy will command $20m+ in the free agent market next year.....no thanks. let some other team over pay for check down Teddy.

I would think Teddy's ceiling is $10 million per year in this marketplace. He would probably the best back up QB in the league - and that is his value. As a starter in the league, he is a placeholder. I will say - I've seen crazy before in the NFL - so never say never.

I saw that on a fake IG post. I think people took it and ran. No way does Teddy get 25 mil. That isn’t even believable.

Benjamin Allbright talked about it on KOA Sunday pre-game and then afterwards as well. Not sure how accurate he is but just what he talked about.

I could see someone like the Texans giving it to him if they can't move Watson. Or the Vikings if Cousins is gone.

I don't believe either of those two orgs are signing Teddy unless it is on an affordable 1 year deal. Texan's are in a full rebuild mode and the Vikings know what Teddy is and isn't, plus there is talk of firing the GM so that would eliminate the connection. I was thinking the Saints but they just inexplicably gave Taysom Hill a bunch of $$ and they are up against the salary cap. They have the type of team that Teddy could be moderately successful on much like with the Broncos but with a head coach/offensive creativity that would be good for Teddy as opposed the the Broncos.
