Ojemudia ought to be back soon.

Anyone notice Bassey was back last week? Not even sure he played but he was dressed. We have a lot of CB's on the roster with the injuries we had going into the season. I think OJ is good to be back this week. Not sure how we fit him on the roster. We seem to like Hairston and Ford for special teams. Hairston has made a few plays this year but isn't a long term guy here, IMO. I want to get OJ back out there. Give him some more experience going into year 3. See if we can depend on him or Bassey next year. Sorta sucks for them. With Fuller not playing well, Callahan again hurt they really could have been soaking in more experience this year.

PJ Locke is still making ZERO impact on special teams. I would like to see Jamar Johnson get some PT this year if anything else on special teams. Feels like we are totally give him a RS this year though. He wasn't even activated when Kareem Jackson was out this week and we gave his # away to a likely ILB who won't be here next year probably promising Johnson is # back next year since we aren't putting him on the field this year. ;)

Being reported that Russell Wilson would waive his no trade clause to play for the Broncos, Saints or Giants. Wilson has shown some decline, so while I am interested I don't want to give up a "ton" for him either.

Isn't is pretty cost prohibitive for Seattle to trade him? I think there is a lot of dead money still out there for both 2022 and 2023 so I think it would take a pretty significant offer to land him, which is likely worth it and I am not a massive fan of his. I think he is overrated by the media as many look at him as a top 5 QB which I don't think he is. That said, he is absolutely a top 15 QB and what better options do the Broncos have? Kirk Cousins or some other mediocre retread? No thank you, been there done that for the past 5 years. Rookie from a bad QB class that takes several years at best to develop which wastes the young talent on the team? Aaron Late 30's diva Rodgers? Maybe depending on value given up and he commits to the team for four years or more. Deshaun Watkins? Too much risk without his legal situation wrapped up IMO and that will take a ton of capital.

This team is such a waste of a well constructed roster without a good QB that I think giving up a few 1's, 2's and 3's over a few years. If things go well those should be later in the round picks anyway. If he comes available we should absolutely be in on it.

I’m not DC, but I’d give our first (currently 16 and probably ends up around there) and the second we got from the Rams. Wilson is probably worth more, but his contract, from what understand is only for 2022/23 which means we would have to negotiate his contract after just one year of playing for the Broncos.

Good question. Wilson is a good, not "great" QB... He will be 34 and he has hit his decline. That being said he is still a premiere QB on the market and the way our team is set up we don't need him to be great, we just need him to be good. Maybe two first round picks. I wouldn't give 3 for him. I like Geo's deal better but I think it will take a little more then that.

Aaron Rodgers in a heart beat if you don't consider the compensation. He is a bit of a jerk, IMO but I would take him for a few years and get over that part of him.
yeah, that would be my choice as well.

there are rumblings that he'd be open to Denver, what do you think the realistic chances are?

Would Rodgers really leave GB? They could likely be the #1 seed in the NFC, he could win the MVP again, that defense is playing well, plus he has weapons and GB completely catered to him over the offseason and through the Covid nonsense. He had his hissy fit and now I think he stays and becomes the highest paid QB in GB as GB knows Love is nothing. Hope I am wrong, but I just don't see him leaving now.

I agree. I think GB is going to do what they need to retain Rodgers. Love isn't good, they are having great success with Rodgers. I think that will drive the trade price too high to justify it on a QB likely to retire in 2-3 years. Broncos would have borrow against the future for short-term success and we would be right back to where we are today but likely have more positions to fill that we lost in FA and didn't replace with those traded picks,

Did someone just ask if Rodgers would really leave Green Bay? Have you paid attention the last few years? ;)

We shall see. Just don't know that he could go to a better situation than the one he is in. The AFC west is a bloodbath where the NFC north he owns.

I don’t think there is salary cap space for both AR and WR Adams. So if he stays and Adams leaves, will he have the same success? Maybe…

Acquiring Rodgers makes my ass hurt just thinking about it. The best acquisition value would be Russell Wilson - who is supposedly - at 31 - on the downside of his career. That's NFL code for he doesn't have NFL talent around him to help make plays. Personally - I can do without the Prima Donna's or the perverts at QB.

i think the time has now past where we look at 1st round picks more valuable than a QB like rodgers or wilson

you could have 21 first round picks but if your QB is teddy or trevor or paxton it won’t matter .

plus those QBs make others better

Paton is a fool to sign the WRs without some concrete plan in place to substantially upgrade the QB position.
