If his shooting talent is zero I'm not gonna say he's an amazing talent because the game is basketball.

That's just it though, his shooting talent isn't zero. Apparently there are videos out of him hitting shot after shot in practice and in pickup games. But for whatever reason, dude just refuses to work on it enough to use in NBA games. Or at least to give him the confidence to shoot in games.

Some coach I am sure will still think he can turn the guy around, just like people thought that about Lamar Odom, etc. It ain't happening though.

Lamar Odom is a pretty good comp, imo. Dude had ridiculous talent and was even an important part of 2 Lakers titles...but he underachieved pretty badly relative to his talent.

It's largely the confidence IMO. There are plenty of bad shooters in the league that have no problem with launching away.

Tough to put up big stats when you play with some ball dominant teammates like he did. He was a well-rounded and talented player, but he was never an alpha that could lead his own team and dominate the ball himself.

The Lakers have a guy who could use a little less confidence in that area. lol

It's too bad too because he had a Magic Johnson skillset.

What up Sacramento? Lol

At least they aren’t dealing with a nutjob, I mean did they really get full credit for getting rid of Cousins at the right time?

Does it matter? They’re an NBA dumpster fire.

I hit tons of shots in my driveway. The hoop is like 8.5 feet high. Maybe I could be in the league.

The Kings haven't been in the playoffs since the Bush administration. At some point you have to start taking chances. Hoping all your young guys will develop and stay with the team is the vicious cycle of basketball.

No.

Technically they sold him at peak value and avoided a seriously bad max contract.

However, they also pulled an out of nowhere predeadline move that was widely criticized because they didn’t get enough back. It was a typical Vlade move.

In other words they sold Cousins at peak value for a bargain basement price.

How bad is the kings franchise?

According to an athletic article Walton is the best coach they’ve had since adelman
