I've maintained that the Kings make the most sense as they have redundant players. Simmons could make a huge difference for the Kings.

yeah the Fox/Simmons fit is tricky. And, truth be told, the Kings may be better off trading Fox/Mitchell instead of Hield/Mitchell but they aren't going to do that most likely.

While I do agree that this won't happen, I don't think this is such a crazy thought. Fox is a poor 3 point shooter and not as good a defender as Simmons. They are both on max contracts. You could very easily argue that Simmons would be a better fit for the Kings than Fox is.

Before all this I would agree. Now there is no chance, it doesn't mean they still can't get good return on Simmons bc I absolutely think they can.

Fox is still SAC's #1 though and they covet him highly.

Like I said, I don't think they would trade Fox. The Kings are a weird team because Vivek falls in love with players. He fell in love with Hield and tied Vlad's hands with him.

But after a bright start for the Kings, they are now 5-6. If they are 8-14 in late December, they are going to need to make some tough choices.

The Sixers, as his employer, are rightfully protecting themselves as employers by making sure that he's actually seeking medical attention so that he get back to his job asap. If he is, he gets paid. If he isn't, then he doesn't.

From what I can see, they are just asking for confirmation that he's undergoing treatment, not asking for detailed explanations about what he's potentially diagnosed with or what is discussed in any sessions.

No he didn't. All he said was that the Sixers were given the names of the people that Simmons was working with. We don't know anything beyond that.
