There was a team named the timberwolves long ago. They were led by a great leader named kevin garnett. Alas garnett was sent packing and the timberwolves were left for dead. Now, for the first time in modern history, there appears to be a pulse in the old raggedy corpes. 43 wins is by no means good. But its the highest my homerism is able to reach. Im calling it here. 43 wins.Timberwolves? Timberwolves?![]()
Doesn't ring a bell. Sorry.
Oh wait...didn't there used to be an NBA team by that name? Or was that MLS?
I think based on how they finished the year they have a shot for the play in game. If Edwards and Mcdaniels both improve like you normally see in the second season and Beasley can not wave guns at people they will be far better than their projections.

Thanks bro. Normally a 43 win season isnt something to be excited about but well.....you know, timberwolves en sech.I honestly haven't seen many Twolves games. So have no idea how many they could win this year. Best of luck to your team this season though.
They had been limited on additions, but they switched from a bad coach to a good coach mid-season, and by the end of the year the played near 500 ball, 3 key starters missed significant time, and the other 2 starters were rookie that had not turned 20 yet. They can’t make any additions.
They’re so close to the tax line

A full offseason of good coaching, and better health puts them close I think. With limited cap they still turned Rubio, Culver, and Hernangomez into Beverley and Prince adds defense and 3 point shooting, 2 spots they really needed help.
They could still go all timberwolves out there, but I think they have pieces needed to surprise
