Tony allowing the talent to be more creative and it being a happier work environment will tend to do that. Malachai Black and Ruby Soho were both over more there in one night than their whole WWE run.

the fans will get mad if they do nothing but they have done more with ruby than wwe did with her since Becky buried her

Me thinks there is real life heat between Cole/ Schiavone.

Omega/Danielson is a dream match for me

it did roll off too easy

I just chalked it up to Cole being an asshole in real life

Anyone else think MJF went a bit far? There’s a line between being a good heel by getting heat and going way too far and MJF erased that line tonight.

I can’t believe they allowed that. It did seem like it went too far.

I wish they cut out that six man tag so the main event could’ve gone longer. That was way too rushed and even cut Suzuki’s entrance, which sucks as well. Their New Japan match from last year was way better.

Not a chance. IRL, Adam Cole is like the nicest guy you'll ever meet. What happened was he's a heel that's getting massive cheers. Heels aren't suppose to be cheered so he did something that would get the crowd to turn on him.

Right on the line but ultimately, I'm ok with it. It's sorta like an old Roddy Piper promo from the 80s or back when certain heels really did go all out to the point where people would literally attack them.

They definitely could have cut some of the promos tonight to give that match more time. How are you gonna have Suzuki, but only give him 10 minutes, half of which was picture in picture? It was still fine but could have easily been so much more by just dropping a segment or two.

I would've cut out the Dark Order-Pinnacle match. They could've had that on one of the Dark shows and given all of that time to the main event, and not cut off Suzuki's entrance. Add that time to the main event and it could've at least been around 15 minutes give or take, which would've been perfectly acceptable in my opinion.

I didn't mind that match because its forwarding a storyline. But we didn't need video packages and promos from Miro/Kingston, Dan Lambert, and a recap of the Casino Battle Royal. That's 3 to 5 minutes right there.Tell Punk to stop taking so much time getting to the ring and milking the crowd and that's another minute or two. 5 extra minutes really would have helped that main event.

The main event would've been solid at 15 minutes, agreed. Also agree about the Casino Battle Royal as that stuff accomplished nothing. Miro/Kingston I'm guessing is going to continue for whatever reason and I'm at least interested in the Dan Lambert stuff. But they could've confined the Dark Order storyline into a couple minute segment and gotten the same point across.

Yeah but that is MKF sthick.

I'm okay with it because he was doing it naturally.

Agreed and maybe a start of a introduction of a character..

Miro Kingston. Needed to continue..... But it could have waited 2 days as well
Lambert. Yes and no.
Recap. Fuck ya
Punk wasn't the only one. Moxley did it on the way to the ring as well

Honestly. I thought Hobbs and Martin went on too long........

But I agree, if your going to give us a big match with 2 over guys. Then 15 Minutes is not enough.

But I'm shocked I'm the only one talking about the Dream match coming our way

I thought it was fair game as long as the people ( both wrestlers/non-wrestlers) involved gave it the greenlight. The only exception is the drug line. That's literally killing tens of thousands of Americans a year so let's stay away from that one.

Questionable content aside MJF is the best promo in wrestling right now

What did he say? I can’t watch AEW for longer than 5 minutes at a time. I’m already completely bored w Punk.

Honestly. Can't find it but here are some tidbits

MJF started out by explaining why he lost at AEW All Out and then he ripped on Brian Pillman’s family sitting at ringside. This brought out Pillman, Jr.

Pillman Jr. said that Cincinnati breeds badasses like his father and Jon Moxley. MJF then ripped on Pillman’s “drug addicted” mother Melanie (he referred to her as Methanie). He followed up with a lewd remark and then he took a jab at Wardlow for not helping him on Sunday.

I'm with Futbol. It's all well and good until he mentioned drugs.
