Lakers aren't going to play all 15 players on the active roster nightly. Last thing they need is another guard.

It isn’t 1996 anymore.

Pretty difficult to have too many guards on the roster.

Especially when you have players like Melo, LeBron and AD who can move up a position or 2 when needed.

Lakers probably need 1 more bigger body who can shoot. Not sure that player is still out there.

Just talking to a friend last night and LeBron Scorched Earth is playing out again. He brought a championship and may compete for another but when he’s done the organization is going to go through some hard times. This may be one of the oldest rosters I’ve seen in the NBA.

It is LA though.

They will be fine as long as AD is there. They can attract another star to play with him.

This might be the damndest thing Ive ever heard.

Explain. Athletes who rely on explosiveness, such as Westbrook, don't tend to maintain that level of athleticism for so long. Use MMA fighters as an example - fighters like Connor McGregor are fast-twitched guys. That's why most of his fights would end in the 1st round. He has explosive power in his punches and can finish fights early. As fights start to go off, his muscles require more oxygen and little by little his power goes away. Whereas you have guys like Nate Diaz for example where he's not fast-twitched, he's more volumetric and doesn't have the power for 1 punch to knock you out.

lol

Altuve has stuck out 4 times. I guess the games a little harder when you don't know what pitch is coming. Dodgers fans have been giving it to him all game long too.
I dunno. I have altuve on my fantasy baseball team and he has basically been the best 2nd basemen in MLB this season. Semien, and Merrifield have also been good though too.

Altuve right now- 80 runs, 25 homers, 65 rbis, 4 sb, 276 avg., .353 obp. He missed almost a month of the season too- still leads all MLB second basemen in runs, homers, 4th in rbis, top 10 in obp.

Altuve, Vlad, Jose Ramirez, and Sal Perez are carrying me to a 4th title in 5 years.

all though Bauer might screw it up. UGHHH. Pitching so good before this abject stupidity.

be nice if Trout and Bregman got back from injury too- they are both on my bench. My team is stacked and i traded some prospects to "go for it" this year....but look at this team if healthy:

C- Sal Perez- best in baseball this year
1B- Vlad- best in baseball this year- possible MVP
2B- Altuve- probably best 2B in bsaeball
3B- Jose Ramirez- top 3 in baseball- him, Machado and Devers are basically tied on the player rater
SS- Lindor--- (massive fail)- have DeJong now- a weakness
OF- Aaron Judge
OF- Trent Grisham
OF - Mike Trout
UTIL: Alex Bregman
bench: Brandon Lowe
bench- Myles Straw

P- Bauer
P- Luis CAstillo
P- Lance McCullers
P- Jose Berrios
P- Charlie Morton
P- Aaron Civale

RP- emmaneul clase
RP- james Karinchak
RP- Adam Ottavino
RP- Zack Britton

If I dont win itll be because Trout and Bregman dont get back to help in August/September and Bauer remains out because of his complete idiocy and indecency.

Nope.

It's Los Angekes. We'll attract another start to play with AD once James retires.

Oh, Altuve is a great player. If I were into fantasy baseball, I'd probably have him too. It was just fun watching him strike out 4 times while Dodgers fans were booing him, chanting "Cheater" and "Fuck Altuve".

They were almost as bad with Correa, but he answered back by hitting a solo shot off Scherzer. The fans seemed to respect it too. They quieted down some on him after that. lol

He’ll likely be 31-32 with an injury history. He’s more likely to be the guy wanting to get out and nut ride the younger generation than he is to attract guys to play with him.

Dodgers are the real evil empire. They have a farm like the Rays and they spend like the Yankees. I was never this guy 5-10 years ago but I think it’s time for MLB to invoke a cap and a ceiling. The only way to do it though would be revenue sharing with local tv money. Not sure how they would get the big franchises to be ok with that though.

Westbrook does not just rely on explosiveness, he has a motor that may have never been seen before.

Whiteside signed a min. deal to be the Jazz's 4th or 5th big man. i figured he would get a roster spot somewhere, but thought there was a chance hed be out of the league.
