God they have been good. Cant believe the Cotton Bowl is Ark vs KSU...2 top 10 teams. That is actually better than the Sugar or Orange Bowl

These Games have been awesome..Eve though I was 0 for 5 yesterday gambling...these are great. Best bowl season I can recall

I only made two bets...overs in the Rose Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl....just didn't think they could set totals high enough for those four awesome offenses, and those four horrible defenses.....didn't have a clue who would win either game, just figured pretty much no one was going to stop anyone.....

I agree. All the bowls have been great and I've watched a bunch of them, but I won't watch the Championship.

Nobody....defense anyone???? Ok St, Stan, Ore, Wisc, don't play it....again I say the two best teams are playing for it all.....There's a huge difference between really exciting football and really good football....

But then again, that is the problem with the BCS. How are you so sure the two best teams are playing? Because OK St. had a let down one game in 2OT? There's no doubt that LSU is the best team in the country, but you can't tell me OK St. wouldn't have a great shot to beat them. LSU has barely any offense, OK St. has barely any defense.

LSU averages 41 ppg vs everyone except Alabama, and bama averages 39 ppg vs everyone except LSU, so I wouldn't say there was barely any offense there. We'll never know for sure, but I strongly believe Ok St would not have been able to slow either down, while both LSU and bama would have slowed down Ok St by plenty.....

I don't buy that for one second. If you watched LSU or Bama all year you seen that their offenses just plain weren't that good. SEC defenses are great my ass. Bama had their chance at home and blew it. They didn't win their Conference or even their side of their conference. They don't deserve a 2nd shot. If they beat LSU does LSU deserve a 3rd shot? Should we make a new game.

I don't follow your logic. You say they "don't deserve a second shot" because they lost a game. Why does OK State deserve a second shot then?

The BCS rules are stupid, but they are clear.... The system asks voters to rank the teams and those that are ranked the highest get to play one another for the championship. The team that wins in January is the team that gets to be NC. Case closed.

We often see rematches in the final game of the basketball tourney, yet I've never heard of anyone being disappointed that the winner gets to be NC.

Basketball is different from football. The regular season is supposed to matter more.

Not to say the basketball regular season doesn't mean anything; there is just a bit more leeway. There is no reason why the football regular season couldn't mean just as much with a playoff added. What logic is there to have a rematch between two teams in the same conference who have already met in a short season? Why is the SEC supposedly the end all, be all of conferences? We have seen what a team like Boise can do when they go against the big conferences, so why not see what others will do? That said, I don't want to get into that whole argument because everything said has been said before and nothing is going to change. Money is money.
