I think at some point Huff will be playing 1B. With the depth we have at catcher, Huff's bat would best be served at 1st.

I think currently, most if our catchers project to be backups. I am not sold on Lowe, but to me he seems more settled as a starter at 1B, than any of our catchers, besides Huff, seem settled as starters.

Seems awhile back there was some concern or discussion about Huff's size possibly being a negative for a starting catcher. If that is the case, 1B would be a option. Like you I am not sold on Lowe either. In any case, Huff has a bat we need and can use at two different positions if required. One of the real good positives we have. Trades and draft may soon change a lot.
